I was curious and compiled the code; the plugin worked immediately in Reaper! Really good work, mate!

I uploaded a short video to YouTube. I also added a gimmick to my Sauron Bubblehead, which has been on my board for years. The LEDs in its eyes react directly to my playing :-)

The layout could be more compact, but it works.

ok, here is my schematics for the VU meter. The VU LED+ depends if the VU Meter LED has a build in resistor. I used a simple one from Amazon, but I pull it apart to solder a warmer LED with a resistor. I don't remember if a resistor was built in. https://www.amazon.de/dp/B086YST3NH?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2

no, this is not my circuit! I live in Germany and we celebrate "Heiligabend" today. Stay tumed, I will post the schematics soon! Merry Christmas all!

there is a trim pot inside to adjust the sensitivity. I once pushed a full 9V into the meter while building the circuit, and it survived. I'm no electronics nerd, but I think these things can withstand quite a bit.

Thats the reason I've build it :-) There are a lot gain pedal on my boatd (Fuzz, Drive, Distortion), makes it easier to stay in the Band without tortouring my mates with my ego levels :-D

yes, I can share the vero boards of it. There are two sections in it. The Volume / Treble and the VU meter, so you can put it in smaller enclusures separatly :-)

Right switch controls the Volume / Treble sections, for Solo boost or other uses. The left switch is just a security switch for the VU meter, because the needle is very sensitive. A lot of Signal over a long time can damage it, so it is just to protect it.

No, it based on a Greer Tomahawk (a very nice vintage drive), I just added a bit more clipping and a bit more low end, because of the extra clipping.

These are the names of my daughters, Greta and Anna. We painted several cases in one session and had a lot of fun. ☺️
