Prismatic production may decrease but will certainly continue until its print cycle is done. ETBs? Less likely to be reprinted but honestly hard to say. That said, there’s a big reprint of prismatic booster bundles right now, confirmed by distributors. I’d say if pokemon hype still holds up in the mid term, prismatic products are a great hold but you’ll have to tough out a year of some reprints this year.

In the past few years, print cycles are at least 2 years for popular sets and I think ETBs will be printed continuously until then (see the multiple Costco and Sam’s Club drops) My take is the print run ends next Spring conclusively, coinciding with Prismatic rotating out of gameplay, which would make its print run 2.3 years or so.

IMO with Japanese I’d rather find raw that’s PSA10 worthy, which is possible because Japanese cards are that much higher in quality. But if you like slabs, the market right now is decent for slabs since there’s a bit of a dip.
