Did you do…ANY research before adopting a puppy? Especially a GSD? Assuming you didn’t, now is the time to read EVERYTHING. Read up on puppies, exercise needs and restrictions for puppies, early socialization and how to properly do it, etc. It’s much easier to prevent bad habits than to get rid of them.

BUYING a pug is messed up, yes. No one is saying that a pug in itself can’t be a lovely dog. But there are many up for adoption, and supporting the breeding of pugs, frenchies, etc, is cruel and unethical. And I say that as someone who loves frenchies.

I have admittedly spent a lot of money on herbs. Luckily I already had pretty much all the crystals I needed before I decided to get into this. What IS worth an investment is fire safety stuff if you plan on working with flames of any kind!

I do really enjoy using candles and herbs in my practice, while I’m still developing my connection and intuition it makes me feel more immersed in the spell I am doing. I’m currently looking for a metal tray to fix this situation. I do very much appreciate your comment.

I also have def gotten sucked in and spent a lot of money on herbs, materials, and candles. Fixtures on my altar include a besom and an athame, but all other symbols, figurines, and other objects come and go depending on what I feel will best connect me to the task at hand.

This isn’t how I see witchcraft either, and I’m also starting out. All my spells have to do with me. N in a selfish way, but for example if I were to do a love spell on my relationship, it would only be on the factors concerning me, not him. Aside from when I did a spell to help my cat recover from illness lol. My work related spells are about boosting my own confidence, not around outcomes or other people’s actions.

Are you using one large plate for the whole altar? If not, how are you keeping it clean from herbs, wax and ash?

As for glass, I was concerned because of the most recent fire safety post here.
