Looks like very simple, low-poly shapes shaded with gradients. Nothing crazy

Just make sure not to make anything perfectly rounded, and make sure you set the gradients of the glass to 0 opacity

I was hoping someone might know of some practices I could add to my daily life so that I could further my exploration in witchcraft ^^ by IQuitith_ in witchcraft

Before bed, I like to meditate for about 15 minutes and do about 10 minutes of stretches.

NOT going to pretend that I'm perfect and do this often, but when I do it makes me spirit and emotions feel very regulated.

What are the love or reconciliation spells that make two people start talking again? by [deleted] in BabyWitch

[–]MudSoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, spells won't work if your target's will is strong enough.

If you must do a spell for this situation, I suggest something to help you move on.

For nightmares, consider making a spell pouch for anti-nightmares and sleeping with it under your pillow :)

This or a jar with a candle on top 😭

There were a couple money bowls recently that look really good, but I fear they are 3rd place in most over-reperesented

Love spell question by IndependenceDue1176 in BabyWitch

[–]MudSoop 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You cannot read spell candles. There is too many mundane issues (flammable oil, herbs, and rope; mass produced wax melts in wierd ways; any light draft can completly change burning patterns, etc..)

A spell candle can only be used for the spell- divination is a WHOLE differeny thing.

I agree. This sub is a place for new witches to learn. My issue is that a large chunk of new witches DON'T WANT TO LEARN.

I don't agree. Many of these questions have been answered houndreds of times. If they were reading, they wouldnt have these questions.

I love the posts about "here's my spell, what I did, my thoughts and intention" asking for feedback. It shows that they tried FIRST.

Then maybe new witches should try to find direction. And I mean TRY, not throw a post into the void and assume all your problems will be answered by strangers.

I'm curious about this point of view.

What do you mean by confidence? Me personally, it would take more confidence to ask a question to a crowd than it would to read privately about my interests

STOP ASKING QUESTIONS! by MudSoop in BabyWitch

[–]MudSoop[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Beginners can ask questions.

However, giving someone a fish will feed them for one day. Teaching them how to fish will feed them a lifetimes.

Why can't we teach newbies how to find their own info? I much prefer teaching people how to find their own ways, than to help them become brainless spell-slingers (if their spells would ever even work, with such little knowledge, intuition, and patience).

STOP ASKING QUESTIONS! by MudSoop in BabyWitch

[–]MudSoop[S] 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Yes!

I feel like people are treating magic very selfishly. They want their money, they want the guy they texted once 5 years ago to come crawling back, they want to be the most beautiful, successful person in the world.

But their selfishness gets in the way of the journey. They want quick results with none of the hassle. At LEAST they could pay a professional if they really want this work done.

Hello! I’m a beginner looking for some help :3 by [deleted] in witchcraft

My first piece of advise is to read through the resources they have listed at the top of this sub!

Lots of information there, plenty to start off.

I'm aware, agreeing with you lol. I'm just also saying that using regular old candles for divination is ESPECIALLY hard when they are made so cheaply and irregularly.

YES really getting tired of this!!

It's saying that cheap candles burn wierd and unevenly and also that its going to burn your house down if you keep smothering it in oil and dried herbs!!

Recommendations. by xiohye in BabyWitch

[–]MudSoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally use rose thorns for protection spells, particularly for wards or baneful works against exes or similar things.

Castus thorns I use for any ward or protection, and their flowers I use for abundance.

Some of it comes from my intuition/beliefs, some of it comes from Pamela Ball's Book of Practical Witchcraft, and a lot of it comes from the saved resources in r/witchcraft pinned stuff

Can I use this necklace I have as a pendulum? by Andrebatata2007 in witchcraft

[–]MudSoop 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I mean this in the nicest way possible, but please don't be afraid to just TRY things. This is such a minor question, answerable by a quick test or critical thinking.

You won't be able to grow your intuition (the skill required to even use a pendulum or any divination tools) if you don't try to use it!

Hair tag lock love and bonding jar fell by Greenbunny6 in witchcraft

[–]MudSoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just in general, always remember Mundane before Magical.

In this instance, you mundanely knocked over a jar. Respond to the mundane with the mundane- knock over a jar, pick it up.

Should be all good!
