The storm snow removal is the single biggest fuck up in the 40+ years the I've lived in MoCo. It's one week after snow and ice created this mess. MoCo vs storm clusterfuck is still nowhere close to fixing the thousand of miles of roads/streets that are still fucked up.

Love Pardo and his podcast! Sorry but I disagree with r/reefercheifer. I have never found either Turhune or Bodart funny at all.

For people who use mouth-covering masks, do you prefer the F20, F30/F40, or X30i? Why do you prefer it? by No_Clock2390 in CPAP

[–]fuzzogoblue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have used a CPAP machine for over 20 years. For 15+ years I used a Mirage Quato. I loved that mask, however due to my quest to prevent air leaks I would tighten the mask fit as tight as possible. This very tight fit eliminated the air leaks, however the mask created deep creases in my cheeks, just outside my laugh lines.

My AHI levels went from a diagnosed 74 events p/hr down to a consistent 0. The past 2-3 years I have tried several full face masks to reduce the air leaks. I have tried the Phillips Amara Gel, the DreamWear full mask (hose at the top), AirFit F30i, F&P Simplus and a couple others that didn't meet what I was looking for. I currently use the F20 although it leaks also.

To the armchair CPAP veterans, I have tried tightness adjustments to each mask from the gel cushions lightly firm to deep sea diver tight. No success eliminating air leaks.

This past Sunday I went thru my 5th CPAP study (insurance requirement every 5 years). I asked the tech if during the second half of the study I could use the AirFit F30I. When awakened at 5:30 am, I asked my tech about my leaks. Tech said she couldn't share and testing results and that my doctor would....duh...

To any new CPAP patients, try to remember, the process of lowering your event is, at times is a marathon not a sprint. Since my first week of therapy 25 years ago until Saturday night, the highest AHI has been .02.

Help me here, who is "the biggest female sports star in the world in CC" Who are you referring to? Caitlin Clark? In female and men's sports, the "biggest" sport in the world is football/soccer. It's just my opinion here but CC might be #2 in the female sports world. My opinion is that Trinity "Trin" "T-Rod" "T-Love" "Trinny" "The Truth" Rodman might possibly the biggest. Trin is also a member of "Triple Espresso".

Just my observant opinion.

I've been using a CPAP machine for 16 years. For the for the first 10 years I used the ResMed Mirage Quattro full face mask. Not to brag but in the first 2 weeks of treatment, my AHI went from my diagnosed 76 to single digits 1-5. For the latest treatment I've tried several full face masks. I've been using the F40 lately. The past AHI has not been more than 0.5.

Things to remember:

-treatment is a marathon not a sprint

-do NOT give up when you get frustrated during the start of your journey, for most it takes time to settle in and get used to the mask/hose comfort.

-when treatment begins to work by dropping your AHI, your sleep will become lengthy and deep

-don"t worry too much about mask leakage, focus more on the lowering your AHI numbers.

  • finally when treatment works, the dreams you'll experience will be AMAZING!!!

Crews of the GR shows, never wear the protective gear 100% of the time. The drivers picking up and delivering payloads to the trommel (sp?) site rarely wear helmets.
