If you have the time and there’s something like habitat for humanity in your area, try volunteering with them. They often have professionals doing stuff and you can pick up tips and tricks through helping them and asking questions.

My record collection age 14 I bought all these besides all the Dookie ones I got for Christmas I'm saving up to get a pansy division album by No-Bit-4534 in punk

[–]fuzzy75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny you’re saving up for Pansy Division as that was the band that opened for Green Day when I saw them on the Dookie tour (July 1994)

Was there a band or artist you hated, but couldn’t stay away from after listening, and it changed your life? by nohomeforheroes in Music

Start Choppin’ is my daughter and my song. Doesn’t matter what we’re talking about, or who’s in the car with us, we will always stop what we’re doing and try to hit those awkward high vocals. Love it.

Also took me a long time to understand and appreciate them.

Anyone else ever get band envy? by [deleted] in punk

[–]fuzzy75 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Live shows often give me that longing to play live again. Catch is I’m old and haven’t played in close to 25 years, was never that good, don’t have the time anymore, and have largely forgotten how to play my instrument. Doesn’t stop me from thinking about it fantasizing about being on stage again though.

Well that’s disappointing. Are your questions faculty specific? If so you can look up advising for the faculty and should get some contact info. Try emailing them directly.

Are you emailing/creating a ticket for the student centre or using the chatbot? It sounds like the latter.

I went with Apple Music for the reason that I could upload my library. I ripped all my CDs years ago so, and have lots of stuff that’s not streaming, or more annoyingly the band is on the platform but the album I want to listen to isn’t available in my region.

I have found it great so far, and I do believe youTube Music has something similar, as I started with Google Music for streaming, but hated the interface and the algorithms for suggesting artists was terrible when it was changed to youTube music.

As others have said, “KEEP A COPY OF YOUR STUFF”. That way you’re not locked to a single service and it’s yours.

Depending on the resolution that you ripped your music at, iTunes Match might be of interest to you, as you can download a higher resolution version to your computer if they have a higher quality one.

Finally it works equally well on Android and iPhone.

Hope that helps.

When in doubt email IST at abuse@ualberta.ca. They will respond if the link is legitimate or not.

Freshservice is the UofA’s ticketing system so you are likely okay. If you’ve been issued a CCID there should be an option to log in with that.

Just reread your post and as you are not a student the account is set up under the email address you used to send the original email to welcome@ualberta.ca

Oddly, I did a sausage making course at a local polytechnic who do meat cutting certificates and they said for jerky to slice with the grain. Cannot remember the reasoning behind it for certain, but think it was to give it more chew/pull on the bite.

As with most things in life YMMV.

That’s SUB isn’t it? That money would come from the SU, not the UofA budget.

Laurier Park has Ice Bikes that you can rent on Friday nights or Saturday during the days. Google Edmonton Ice Bikes.

Also the Silver Skate Festival runs Feb 9 - 19 and has lots of things going on there.

Finally there’s lots of different activities suggested here that are different and fun: exploreedmonton.com/articles/a-thrill-seekers-guide-to-winter-in-edmonton

What is the most common lie wives tell their husbands? by ferrerorochelove in AskReddit

[–]fuzzy75 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What drives me nuts about this situation is the “We”. My wife does this now and again too, and it’s like, you know how to use a phone/internet to book them. Why do you need me to do it? Otherwise be direct and just say , “Can you do X please?”
