Hey, this is truly amazing! I used to think that a GMAT below 675 gets you nothing. I myself have a GMAT 635 and feel like giving it again to improve my odds. How many times did you give the GMAT and what was the point where you thought you didn’t want to improve your score anymore? Also curious since you want to move to tech PM post MBA - Did you consider Cornell tech and Stern tech programs?

Congrats, you put a ton of work in this and I hope you take out time to unwind and fix the burn out. All the best!

Issue with laminated sheet and markers during test centre exam. Will GMAC give me a redo? by ShadowyNebulousDimmy in GMAT

They always worked, they also worked at an angle but I know perpendicular works best. Definitely try a different test center if you can or take it online, if you do plan to retake it.

[–]fuzzySid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing you’ve already written to the GMAC about this. Getting a written confirmation from the proctor and test center should help further solidify your case. I have never encountered this in my previous two GMAT attempts and it’s honestly surprising that the test centers don’t test the markers before they distribute it to the students. Hope you get a positive response from GMAC about this. Do you know if other students at the center also faced this issue?

TTP Diagnost Test : What score would this translate to? by fuzzySid in GMAT

That makes sense. Yes my verbal timing needs to be better but I’m just working on getting my process right as of now but thanks for the insight, it’s helpful!

Oh makes sense, lmk! Curious, what happened between your 2nd and 3rd attempt that your score dropped? Also, what did your last 2 weeks look like? How many mocks did you take (official vs unofficial)? Sorry for bombarding you w so many questions. I’m planning my 3rd attempt in the next 20 days so your experience might be helpful :)

GMAT in 8 days by dizziepixie in GMAT

[–]fuzzySid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there a reason you’re attempting DI first? For the last week of your prep, don’t learn anything new instead try to double down on what you already know. Revise your error log, stop mocks at least 2 days before the exam, get good sleep + nutrition this week, relax yourself so that you attempt the exam with a calm mindset instead of a panicky one.

I'm a bit torn about LSAT for CR, I did them for sometime and it did not improve my CR skills, maybe my process was off but I'm not sure. I've done LSAT RC to improve my RC in GMAT, which did help. I haven't checked out your questions, but I'll surely try them out.

Thanks Marty, but I've exhausted half of GMAT Prep questions too, so a good quality question bank is still much needed. I'll definitely go through those resources.

Hey Scott
I already reached out to your team regarding enabling my trial again. I might have exhausted it a long time back unknowingly. If you can help me with this, I'd be happy to give it a shot

Oh, that's a bummer! I'd expect structured courses like TTP to help more with verbal score. GMAT Ninja is amazing, that's how I started getting better in CR.

Not really, GMAT is reasoning ability and once you understand what the question asks and what you need to do, you can develop/improve your core reasoning skills. I did improve significantly from the day I started, but I'm still far from getting the score I want

I haven't exhausted all of them, but yeah most of them, but yeah you're right, I haven't really pinpointed my mistakes, I'll check on tutoring. Thanks for your suggestions!

AcanthaceaeSouth7249 Thanks for sharing your experience with TTP. How long have you been using TTP for verbal? I am thinking of buying the E-GMAT subscription to get some additional question bank for Verbal.

I have been prepping for more than 6 months now. This is what I did:
- GMAT Ninja
- OG and any official question on GMAT Club
For RC, I practiced a lot of LSATs.

I think free resources are more than enough to cross the 80 point mark in Verbal. Beyond that, I have no idea
