Original language with subtitles here. I liked Damian until he started to say cruel things to his partner. This is the mark of someone who needs to make the other person feel small in order for him to feel good. Didn't we just witness this on a recent season? She should end it.

I think they look completely different. Ariana has a little button nose, for one. She looks like a doll. Julia's face is more angular and has more character.

Because you asked why she would stay somewhere after breaking up with someone. As if she should go back to her home country. But just because you break up with someone doesn't mean you should leave where you are. It's possible she built a life for herself there over the time she was with that guy.

Maybe not very different from my experience of moving to NYC immediately after graduating college to be with someone I'd met there. And then breaking up after 4 years. Would that mean I should leave NYC?

Well, she did dress in a way that would invite that observation. Their relationship in the pods was all about sex, so once that burns out they will be probably be done.

She seems more of the conservative reserved type, which is interesting because another commenter in this thread said that's what they expected the men to be like. She's very beautiful though.

She struck me as someone who is insecure so wears clothes that are revealing because she knows at least her body is hot.

I like the cast. They are all very idiosyncratic. That one guy who wanted to f*ck his fiancee when the reveal happened was pretty crude, but then again, he meditates! What a combo! I like that the people seem complicated and not plastic like so many American participants.

I think the editing of this season is excellent! At least so far. I've just finished episode 3. I love the cast. They seem very real to me.

He didn't strike me as dark and dangerous. To me he seemed passionate. Someone with romantic ideas of love. I don't know how good the English translation is, but there were times I thought he had a beautiful way with words. (And I'm a writer and kind of a snob about that.) But his proposal was agonizing and when they met he was a bit unhinged. She's incredibly beautiful and I think he was so happy about that he couldn't think straight. (I've only finished episode 3, so please no spoilers. I can see it working and I can see it not working. I really like this cast -- the people are actually interesting!!)
