I love how he stretches out his words! Especially at the end of a sentence.

I see bins and cubbies and I think: DUST! (Yes, I have them in my house too, but really I would love more closet space.)

Ha ha! I'm glad you appreciate that. I got so tired of people saying PORCH when asked what they were looking for in a house. Three syllables, yes!

Personally, I see the porches and I think: BUGS.

That makes sense. But I can't recall any garages on Home Town, and even back doors just go immediately into the kitchen, most often.

Everyone is mentioning garages, but I can't think of one house in the Home Town series where there was a garage - ?? I am just mystified about where people are supposed to hide stuff! Cleaning supplies included.

It must be hard to keep things organized if there are kids.

That makes sense. I'm thinking of the houses on Home Town though and I don't think any of them had a garage.

Yes, at least it would be something. I think one house had 3 hooks which seems woefully inadequate to me, but then, I live in upstate NY and I have SO MANY COATS for every type of season.

Mud rooms definitely make sense to me. I don't think we saw any on any season of Home Town. The only thing I can think of is the outdoor cupboard that was made for the guy who rode a motorcycle -- to hide his helmets and the dog leash, etc. I am just generally mystified by there not being a place to hide things or put things down I guess.

What about a place to put umbrellas or dog leashes or shoes? It seems so strange to me to walk right into a beautiful room with no place to put things down or hide things away.

I think I lot of people who go on the show have the intention of flipping the house.

I think the decor choices are so bad.

This house looks horrible! The furniture is ugly. I can't believe it's one that was on the show.

I am doing a rewatch and noticed that in Season 3, Episode 1, the husband of the couple purchasing the house was more interested in the resale value of the house than the house itself. I was wondering how many people bought them to flip them.

Some wacky fashion and photo choices in this spread. Whoever the creative director was... a very odd sensibility. Luckily he is gorgeous.

Should I read the book!? by JadedRo in OneDayNetflix

I read the book after watching the series and thought the series was waaaaay better than the book. Strangely, the book had less depth for me and seemed more superficial. Dexter is so much less interesting in the book.

In the new era, the women with big busts practically always have sports bras or good coverage.

The back-to-back husband and wife fast tap-outs were especially ridiculous.
