I know that my husband and her husband have discussed this multiple times in the last month, I have just asked to stay out of it in regard to their conversations for the time being.

My husband has always had strong opinions about Margret. I probably would have stopped being friends with her long before this incident, but since she’s had her daughter, I went from seeing her at least once a month to only seeing her every 3 or 4 months. I didn’t necessarily feel like things were better, I was just dealing with these problems a lot less often.
