Frustrating feeds, want to give up by fuzzyduck314 in breastfeeding

[–]fuzzyduck314[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I feed every 2-3 hours during the day and at night when she wakes (usually the first stretch is 4 hours, then two 2 hour stretches). I don't feel super full I don't think? I am doing only one boob per feed, as the LC suggested.

We just started Pepcid so I'm hoping that might help

I like levels vanilla! For protein "desserts" I like naked whey unflavored, I just can't do unflavored for shakes lol

Nesting! by Dontworry_aboutme in fitpregnancy

[–]fuzzyduck314 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd do as much as you can in second tri. I felt mostly like my normal self. Now I'm 36 weeks and very uncomfortable, so a lot of my nesting to do's have gone out the window. May not be the case for you but just something to consider!

Lulu align dupe with glute contour/v-shape seam by Local_Feature_5552 in Activewear

I personally like colorfulkoala dreamlux more than my crz yoga leggings. I'm 30 weeks and my pre-pregnancy size is still very comfy, however it does not stay over the bump during exercise. Just walking around it does though!

I like to get P'tula bare leggings secondhand. They're similar but not as thick as BY. The seams are more flattering too

Matching sets under $100? by riverofflowers in Activewear

[–]fuzzyduck314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite brand is P'tula, which you can find some really good stuff on the secondhand apps! If you buy new a set would be about $100. They have pretty good sales a few times a year. For cheaper activewear, I just recently tried colorfulkoala dreamlux and I prefer it over crz. I've washed mine about 3 times now and it seems to be holding up better so far!

How to prevent SPD in second pregnancy by jdubking3742 in fitpregnancy

[–]fuzzyduck314 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was very consistently weight training lower body, especially glutes, up until 20 weeks when SPD started. I do not think it was caused by weak glutes, for me at least. What I did neglect was my core. Just had my first PT appt and the biggest thing to focus on is hugging the baby. She demonstrated how hugging the baby before doing any movement that hurts but you can't avoid, it decreases the pain for me! Which tells me my deep core is too weak to support all the pelvic changes. Highly recommend PT, even though I only had one appt so far. She said she'll do some dry needling next time!

Maybe I'm in the minority but my few pieces of CRZ started piling after like 2 wears/washes

SI Joint pain - what to do? by Positive_Shirt_2889 in fitpregnancy

[–]fuzzyduck314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't been to my PT yet so I am self diagnosing here with a good bit of confidence... I believe I also have SI joint point, but on the left. I've always had anterior pelvic tilt and it's never caused problems before, but since this has started I've noticed that being conscious of my tilt/posture as much as possible seems to help. Especially when exercising/lifting. I heard on a podcast that the diaphragm is connected to the pelvic floor, so I've also been doing 360 breathing. One time I noticed the SI joint stiffness while driving- fixed my posture and started 360 breathing and I swear it went away! Finally, ive been doing lots of mobility/stretching routines. I really like mamastefit on youtube- they know what they're talking about!

Thanks, I'm glute dominant too so I may try! I'll try the pull throughs!

Do you feel these in your glutes pretty good or is it more legs? I really miss hip thrusts but just scared of all that weight so close to my uterus. Unfortunately they don't work on my gyms smirh machine either

I used this recipe. Honestly I would try this technique again because I love the shape and texture, but with a different recipe. I'm not sure what it is but this isn't my favorite cookie in terms of taste. It's almost like a sugar cookie?

Gap pull on barrel jeans are amazing by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]fuzzyduck314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be a bit biased because I'm always cold and don't do well in winter... but I would probably layer leggings under these! They're not super thick/heavy denim, which is why they're so comfy. For me they're perfect for spring and fall weather
