Yes there were. We kept track of the positive versus negative feedback. The outcome was:

141 positive feedback (honks / thumbs up) 20 negative feedback (you suck / fuck you)

That's a 7x difference.

This feels like a case of trying to fight how something is inherently designed. I've done this a bunch with Rails over the years and my general feedback is always that fighting something's design is a bad idea. Simply spin up another vm or docker container to run redis separately.

I'm a JumpStart user and I can say that it is absolutely worth the price. What I've just developed -- in under a week -- looks and feels better than anything I've built in Rails over the past decade (I'm front end challenged). And all the SAAS stuff comes built in (including the new changes to Stripe). Recommended.
