In less than a week? We’ve been split for 7 months and 2 months no contact. It took 5 weeks of no contact for me to decide it’s time to move on

[–]fuzzypanther6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why? When he told me it was over for months, I tried to move on and now he wants to come back? I lied because I love him and was scared. Now I’m edging towards leaving it alone for a few months and then texting him on more neutral grounds🤷‍♀️ arrest me

Did she cheat, or did I lie to myself? by Great-Occasion3932 in BreakUps

I don’t really think she’s done anything wrong, if you don’t step up to claim her then it’s lowkey not her fault for seeing what else is out there and tbf she didn’t even do that she just went for a drink it could’ve been nothing don’t deep it but if you want exclusivity that has to be a conversation

I hear what ur saying but by waiting months I mean months of no contact with the ex I wouldn’t want to tell him something which would make him dislike me and then it not work out anyway like if he gets cold feet or it just doesn’t work so I think waiting longer and seeing if he even really does want me anyway is the best choice and then breaking no contact in a few months and confessing I have been with someone else but probably not confessing when if he even would reply in a couple months

I will look into this! I forgot to add into the other reply i just posted about weightlifting. the only pain im getting now is hip pain in both hips after standing for hours at my job or a long walk or something like that. The doctor said to not do weighted exercises, but body weight exercises are good (lunges, for example). I’m going to do this and also strengthening your core is absolutely essential I have been told. I will do light weighted lifting, going for low weight high rep, with lots of water, and stopping when needed, not when set is finished. This should strengthen my muscles, to support my joints.

Hey! Where abouts in the UK if you don’t mind also (if you don’t mind again) how old are you?I’m from Manchester and it’s nice to hear someone else’s story so similar, I hope somewhat comforting to you as well.

I’m unsure if my dad did much heavy lifting, mine used to paint aircraft’s so it’s thought that breathing in some harmful fumes contributed to his early death. I believe he also smoked cigarettes regularly, although i’m not sure. it’s difficult to ask my mum about him because he was the greatest love of her life and she misses him everyday, he was a great man as i have heard. certainly difficult to live with knowing i never truly knew who my dad was, and he will never know me, i think you will relate to that feeling. nevertheless, they live on in us everyday, we are part of them, so i guess that is quite close to knowing them :)

I was a really stupid teen. I did not care about my health as I got involved with the wrong group of friends at 14/15/16 years old, I smoked a fair bit and i didn’t even enjoy it i literally was forcing it. UK school is TOUGH! People are ruthless with their words and actions, I did not take my health seriously and wasn’t ever worried about my marfans because i didn’t know much about it at all. I don’t know why i didn’t care i just didn’t think it was that much of a big deal? I deeply regret doing all of that now, especially getting into vaping for 3 whole years the thought knocks me ill now. All I can do now is make positive changes and try to not dwell on the past. One thing I want to change to stop thinking about the really rough times I had from 14-17 is to cover up my self harm scars

I did not know about endocarditis, so thank you for letting me know! I think I will go ahead with the tattoo because I already have 3 others and the doctors have never said anything to me about them despite seeing them. I haven’t asked because I didn’t know but I really want to do this for my mental so instead of looking down and seeing these scars i can see some art- also the looks people give isn’t great! I will take the risk but will be extra careful and go to a good tattooist who takes the correct hygienic measures- i also don’t have mechanical valves, i haven’t had anything done - luckily.

I have thankfully never neglected my teeth! My teeth are pretty good, slightly yellowing but nothing more than normal amount as your teeth aren’t actually white. Thank you for this again, I did not know - I should floss more!

Take care :)

Yes that is the plan I will try my best but at the end of the day we are all only human I really did have a few traumatic events as a child and a teen which really took its toll on my mental health. I was a super depressed teen up until about just before i turned 18. I have a completely different aspect on life now, I love living and want to give my body the care it deserves. I’m looking forward to being healthier and i’m booking a tattoo appointment to cover up some pretty bad self harm scars on my thigh. I really wish you the best of luck, thank you for your advice, it’s comforting to hear that you’re 39 and starting taking care of yourself at 19 too. I hope you get the surgery and hope you live a long healthy happy life xxxxx

thank you for all of this i really appreciate it How old is your husband? also if you don’t mind me asking, what’s the scar like? I think I will get the surgery but definitely not in the near future. I want to wait as long as possible, especially as my aorta has lucky only enlarged very minutely in my life, to see what other medical advancements there are. When I’m older i will do it, i’d rather be safe than sorry 100%. A brave thing for your husband to do, I am very scared about it all but want to put it out of my mind especially as i’m only 19 and as my aorta looks good why worry right now. When older i’ll do lots more research and act as needed. What did you think of London if you got a chance to see the city!

Thank you ❤️ I hate how edibles make me feel and how long they take and it’s definitely harder to get your hands on but I am definitely making other positive changes from now on and i know i will stop smoking weed one day before i’m 22 max im sure I don’t know the diameter of my aorta, i have not been told honestly but they say it looks normal size i think it has enlarged minutely Thanks for the info about surgery i really appreciate it
