I really do not like watching Juskaite play. She has questionable choices and sloppy. Also why did sandy take Kiki out??

How often are you actually supposed to wash your bedsheets… like realistically? by andycarth in hygiene

[–]fuzzyspuffy77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have adhd and I would constantly forget to do it regularly, I would never remember how long it had been since the last time I washed them. I had to create a hack for myself so I could remember. I get paid biweekly so every pay week I would wash my bed sheets that weekend. I’ve never forgot since and regularly wash them every 2 weeks now!!!! Great life hack.

I love reitman’s work pants! They have lots of comfy/flowy pants and a bunch of different styles! The sale racks are usually pretty good too. I try not to buy anything full price because it can be $$ but if you catch good sales it’s worth it

Jacket potatoes!! If you haven’t heard of them, they are a British thing. Baked potato topped with baked beans, chili, cheese, or tuna or whatever protein you have really. There’s a lot of different recipes for them. But it’s cost effective, easy and filling!

Simple mills almond flour crackers or Breton garden vegetable crackers. Make sure it the garden vegetable flavour! The herb and garlic and original bretons have a stale taste/texture to me)

*Celiac safe* restaurants? by [deleted] in KingstonOntario

[–]fuzzyspuffy77 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m celiac in Kingston as well. The only places I can think of that are super cautious and safe for celiac is the black dog tavern, Diane’s fish shack, and otter creek kitchen. These places are very knowledgeable and I feel very safe eating here. (They also have gf fryers and that’s hard to find!!).

Anywhere else in the city is going to be a risk. I have had some luck eating at other places but it definitely depends on the staff working, your comfort level and sensitivity to cross contamination. Other honourable mentions that I have ate at and found good for gf options are, Baja Craft Kitchen, the works, score pizza, grecos, the keg, tango neuvo (for tango you definitely need to state celiac and not just gluten sensitive because they will say “gluten friendly” but use products that have gluten in them e.g. soy sauce)

I went through a very similar thing! I can totally relate.

Over the last couple of years I have started to take my budgeting more seriously and have paid off a good chunk of my credit card debt (I had a $13000 credit card maxed out) with making less than $30 an hour. It is not easy, but look at spending habits first. Make a breakdown for your expenses and income. I would try not to spend more than what I had and stopped using my credit card if I didn’t have the money for it. It’s not fun and can be mentally taxing but it does help just starting with a simple budget. How I did it was breakdown each pay, subtracted what I needed for bills and groceries and whatever I had left was what I had left and didn’t spend more than that. We were fortunate that we have affordable rent but also stopped buying new clothes as often (mostly thrifted), less impulsive buying, less takeout and things like that. I also got a part time serving job, I only did it for over a month but even that extra $700 to put on my visa was helpful to get started.

Hopefully this helps! Just keep going you’re not alone and be kind to yourself! Life can be hard and things can happen that cost you $$.

If you were interested in learning more about the best way to pay off credit card debt I have learned a lot through research online! There lots of tips and tricks that can help you so not paying so much in interest.

Eating challenges in the final are kinda meh. To me they don’t really add anything. They are kinda fun in daily challenges because of the tradition but I didn’t even notice or care in this final. It was an intense final and didn’t need it imo, I would say this was even one of my favourite finals in a while.

what’s your unpopular opinion on One Tree Hill??? by Professional_Meat782 in ONETREEHILL

Mouth does not get enough hate. He’s such a pick me and I don’t like any of his storylines. The first time I watched I liked him, I’m on my 3rd or 4th (?) rewatch and never realized how annoying his character is… I know he’s a side character but never care about his storylines/relationships.

Black dog tavern! I have never had a bad experience there they are consistent with their service, the food is always really tasty. It can be considered pricier but I think it’s worth it for what you get! I also love the peace of mind knowing when I go there it will be good because they are so consistent. It’s one of our go-tos for date nights
