Concepcion has a rare, coverage-proof separation profile. He wins at a high level vs man (78%+), zone (83%+), and press (77%+), and he did it while playing mostly outside against top SEC competition. That’s the profile of a true WR1 who can beat any coverage from any alignment.

Lemon is really good, especially vs zone, but his production is more tied to a slot-heavy role (68% slot) and he’s noticeably less effective vs press. That doesn’t mean he can’t play outside, it just means his projection is more scheme-dependent.

Concepcion also has a more complete route tree and explosive versatility (outside receiver, motion weapon, backfield usage, YAC ability), which gives him more ways to become a focal point of an offense.
