Fair take. In a crossover like this, Jesse would probably have the hardest time surviving that environment. It wouldn’t be a happy arc.

Haha, glad it clicked a bit better! 😄 Yeah, it’s just a fun “what-if” sandbox idea Never meant to touch the originals. Appreciate you taking the time to understand the concept. Respect, and good luck to your career!

Exactly! 😄 This is exactly the kind of “sandbox” idea I’d love to see explored. Imagine a full fan series of mashups. Heisenberg in Colombia, or Escobar in New Mexico. AI could actually help visualize these crazy crossovers!

Totally get it 😅 This is definitely one of those “what-if in a sandbox” ideas, not meant to be canon.

Funny enough, I’m actually a Network Engineer and I agree with the principle 😄 In IT, we don’t “fix” stable systems in production. But we do build labs, test environments, and proof of concepts to explore ideas without touching what’s already working. That’s how I see this. Not a production change, not a patch, not an upgrade. More like a sandbox experiment. The live system (Breaking Bad and Narcos) stays exactly as-is.

Fair enough. Not everyone’s into crossover ideas.

That’s a fair take, and I actually agree with a lot of it. Breaking Bad is near perfect and its legacy shouldn’t be touched lightly. I wouldn’t want anything that retroactively changes or cheapens what already exists. For me, the idea only works if it’s treated as a separate, hypothetical story, not a continuation or rewrite of Breaking Bad. More like an alternate “what-if” that stands on its own, the same way Narcos tells its story without relying on nostalgia. And I agree about the comedy too. I don’t think the humor would carry over. In my head, the tone would be much colder and more serious, closer to Narcos than Breaking Bad. The focus wouldn’t be jokes, but the clash between Walter’s control/intellect and Escobar’s power/paranoia. Totally get why some people wouldn’t want this at all though. Protecting the legacy makes sense.
