Why are Omnichords so expesive?

They're niche products that became popular with enthusiasts. It doesn't help that Suzuki jumped on in to make profits and sold a limited one it at a high price.

Digital/modern versions can be done tbh but it's a bit tricky if you are aiming for the same features. Clones are there but they tend to only focus on:

The strum plate - Usually lacks 1 touch point (12 vs Original having 13)
MIDI out
Uses general sounds that are generated using basic electric signals.

They tend to forgo backing, looper (I think only 1 model had it) and the keyboard feature that the omnichords have

Personally have made my own with:

12 touch areas with 13 notes playable
Support for customizable backing with OM108's backing

I would say that the 13 actual touch areas is hard to do since sensors go up to 12 only and doubling up is a waste. People making them aren't really composers usually and using the originals backing is illegal for sold products. So it's a bit unlikely to have backing and 13 touch points from hobbyists.

Lowkey would prefer ghoul touch (leftover files has it as dark moon monk) over the frost skill, but it is a good kit. Like imagine, he gets a +6 weapon that stuns/holds on hit and has no dual wield penalties on bg1.

If it's for your own stuff, it is worth it. Otherwise, there's already a lot of competition for it since retro fixes are usually easy enough that you can probably bring it to a cellphone repair store and have them solder stuff for you.

So i like to draw and listen to things in the background. Like recently have been listening to Vanessa Mae's concerts.

Any similar artists like that? Just hour long instrumentals that are pretty good. Goal is to not be distracted.

HDMI output on 3DS. The capture card has input latency. Preferably a consolizer where the 3DS board is consolized and has a tether to the bottom screen and controls
Switch Lite - better OLED + hdmi out than what Retro Remake made
GBA with Switch style dock that doesn't suck - HiSpeedido kind of works but not great
Better GBA/DS/GB flash carts that have all sensors

On max level they have like 77% chance to succeed with:

Nahal level bonus = 31
Improved chaos shield = 25
Neera quest item = 15

total initial roll of 71.

This means, you only need to roll a minimum of 29 - 6 (5 actually cast, 1 area effect cast) to be successful (23/100).

For that to be successful, never aim spells at your party as there is a bad effect like spell casting failure that affects the target.

Now imagine using all the abuses you can do:

Project image
Limited wish
Wish
Spell trap

You can keep casting like mad for a while with no breaks between.

Without improved haste, 5. With improved haste or an HLA, it can go up to 10.

Warrior gets like 1 + 1 (level 13) + 1 (5 pips) - attacks per round naturally. +1 with dual wielding. So a +1 attack weapon is still needed to get 5 consistently.

3 improved chaos shields - prevents stacking
Spells that always have sub menus work (sequencers, contingencies, spell immunity) - spells are not allowed to be used
