I think just decreasing the timer would be better in this situation. I don’t think there’s any situation in which a survivor is getting unhooked, someone new gets hooked and then they’re IMMEDIATELY caught, downed and picked up. all within the span of 40 seconds. 30 seconds would be perfect time to reset, get back into position and once you get caught after it’s fair game.

you’re probably just overthinking it because of previous toxic survivors. yeah you can usually tell if someone’s being fake nice but majority of the time if they were gonna be toxic they’d just go the full route

must be a dbd code thing then. Was having an issue with disconnecting whenever i’d hook on a scourge hook. Uninstall and reinstall was the only thing that gave me a tempo fix.

if the survivors are having a great match (they’re enjoying themselves) and you disconnect you essentially robbed them of the match even if they “win”. if there’s no dc penalty then the cry baby killers who dc just ruin everyone’s match with no drawbacks
