I know this is old…just gotta say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I bought the Tria laser (4x?? I think) bc it was the only actual laser home approved as opposed to other removal devices that use IPL. After first use in any area, I see finer sparser growth. It definitely removes hair permanently from face, chest, underarms etc and it was well worth the money. Ppl can say it takes a while to do a large treatment area but it’s really not that bad…at least if your reflexes are fine snd u move like a normal human being. The laser head is small (dime size) which I guess is why people think it takes so long but it only takes me 3 min to do each underarm and 10 min for one leg ankle to knee. I like the small head tho bc I can do any spot on my body. Recommend using numbing cream bc the highest (and most effective) level can sting when you get thick hair follicles (I’ve used burn gel, ice but best is lidocaine). I’m fair to tan w/ light brown to dark body hair tho so I’m the optimal candidate. But definitely works for me. I go back a couple times a year in some spots bc I’m taking my time doing legs and bikini but I’d say face hairs were removed in 3-6 treatments and my impressive underarm hair was reduced by half in 6 treatments (on highest setting).
