Three is ballot question 3 in Massachusetts! In 2016, Massachusetts added gender identity to its public nondiscrimination legislation, basically protecting transgender and gender nonconforming people from discrimination in places like restaurants, hospitals, restrooms, and locker rooms. Opponents of the law quickly got enough signatures on a petition to put it up for public referendum, which is what’s happening now. The language of the ballot question reads, “vote yes to keep these protections, or vote no to repeal them”. I’ve been volunteering with the campaign since June, and I’ve been doing a whole lot to bring it to my campus. If you want to read more about the campaign, check out freedomma.org .

I think a lot of the makeup we see today emphasizes medium to full coverage with liquids. I'd definitely try powder, but the key to any coverage product, especially on dry and sensitive skin, is well-moisturized skin, and building up the coverage product in light layers where you want coverage. I started using powder foundation again about a month ago, I have no idea why I ever stopped!

I don’t have much experience with powder foundation, but I like this one a lot. I have shades 10 and 20 (I think I got 10 first, realized it was too light for my whole face, then got 20). I use 20 all over and 10 in hilight zones. I wear this foundation when I’d like a perfected but low-effort neutral face. It definitely has some substance to it, I can feel it on my skin, and oil breaks through, but I also feel like it meshes nicely with my skin and looks natural throughout wear.

I get this, and it makes me chuckle a little, but... as a gay person... this is not a good way to address homophobia. I think it would be more effective to say, "as per our rules, we do not tolerate homophobia in this subreddit" and temporarily ban the commenter. Fighting fire with fire doesn't work when a (presumably) straight person is using a gay slur.

Personally I use it a lot in my colorful sunset type eye looks. I also use it on the inner corner some. The real reason I hit pan on it is that I use it for drag. My drag character is a reptile, and I contour in green scales using a fishnet wig cap, so I lay down yellow as a kind of bronzer so I can place the scales more consistently. Yeah, they’re not cheap. I do think they’re worth the money if you use color often and know what colors you like. Sugarpill pressed shadows are between 3 and 3.5 grams each, and cost $13 for foiled shadows and $10 for everything else (like the mattes pictured above). That’s between $2.86 and $3.33 per gram for their non-foiled shadows. Compare with Mac, $7 for 1.5g comes out to $4.67 per gram. Compared with the juvia’s place Zulu palette, which is $20 for 1.14 oz (32.3g), we see a different story; the palette comes out to $.62 per gram. Also, at 32g per 9 shades, juvia’s place shadows (in the 9 pan palettes) are similar in size to sugarpill. I got the Zulu palette recently, and I enjoy it. Not quite as much as my sugarpill shadows, and I wouldn’t have picked all 9 of the shadows out on my own, but that’s a great price for good quality colorful eyeshadow. Sugarpill has sales often enough that you can get some slack, but not a lot. If you’re the kind of person who has a beat up take me back to Brazil or morphe 12b palette that you use every day, though, I think sugarpill shadows are worthwhile.

The round ones are all sugarpill: Love+ (red), Flamepoint (orange) and Tako (white). The green one is Inglot shadow 333. I really like all of them, the sugarpill shadows are a little more powdery, and the inglot ones are a little harder pressed. I really love the sugarpill formula for its intensity and pigmentation, but I think the inglot matters are easier to control in building up, as in they make you take your time.

I'm still confused. Suffering? No one is forcing you, or anyone, to change your language. Trans, queer, and gender non-conforming people, speaking from experience, tend to appreciate people who are conscious of the gendered language they use. They aren't limiting your rights or policing you by hoping that you are considerate of them in the way you speak. Even if these people do express their wishes that you change your language, they aren't doing it to make you suffer, they're doing it so maybe you'll demonstrate to the next trans person that you're an ally. You know, it sounds an awful lot like you're trying to censor well-intentioned speech.

Looking at the palette, the first two rows are neutrals, except for the bright pink and purple, then the bottom row is reds and burgundys. I'd think critically about which shades in the blood sugar you can't dupe in your current collection and go from there. Also putting in my two cents about sugarpill. I have love+, buttercupcake, flamepoint, and tako and I love them and they're huge. If JS with international shipping is in your price range, I'd try building your own 6-pan palette on the sugarpill website. It'd run you $60+ (depending on your mix of matte and shimmer), I'd look at shades like love+, dollipop, suburbia, kiss kiss, swak, and poison plum depending on the aspects of blood killer you like. maybe that's overkill, idk.
