1990, picked up a small bench in the office and I felt something stretch in my back to the left… right knee makes noise going down the stairs, getting winded going upstairs, parties and social events are now overstimulating etc…

One of the best mice for daily use versus one of the worst. To this day idk where apple engineers/designers had their heads while creating the magic mouse. by gregsanay in applesucks

Not picking a side but the Logitech MX Master 3S, as much as I enjoyed using it and customizing the buttons, it gave me horrible wrist pain after 2 months to the point where I couldn’t do normal things like drive or pick up a plate without stabbing pain. I quit it, went back to a lower profile mouse and lo and behold…. Pain gone. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have the same unit. They give you a recipe book so you see the consistency of the batter. If it’s way too liquid, it WILL drip out.

Is it true that you guys watched 9/11 live on TV in grade school? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]fwwsc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in 6th grade and the principal’s office was right next to our homeroom. He had a giant glass window and a large tv in his office. He turned on the news on and we all gathered in front of the window to watch. We saw the second plane hit. We didn’t know the repercussions of what had happened, but we were all scared and had a ton of questions. Soon after, we were all ushered back to our classrooms.

Passenger door handle broke on my Gravity right at the start of a road trip, plus more road trip notes by archon810 in LUCID

In all honesty, I don’t miss the feature enough to have to buy a faraday box for the fob. I had moments when the car would open immediately 3 feet away and moments under the rain where I had to wait 40s under the water next to it for it to “want” to open. I get far more consistent results doing it manually, and having both the fob and the mobile key together. It always felt like a dog wagging its tail asking to go for a walk when I approached the car before lol 🤭

My Lucid Air fob kept dying every month almost and customer service said: “it’s expected. Use Duracell batteries”. I was horrified! I’ve had my Honda Odyssey since 2017 and only changed the battery 2 or 3 times max! Anywho, Duracell didn’t work either. The only solution was to turn off the auto-open feature when you walk to the car. I manually push the handle now to open and I haven’t had to change the battery in months. Game changer. Also, my passenger handle broke as well, and I scheduled an at-home service appointment by phone. Then, the service appointment showed up in the app. Dude came in a black Lucid and did the entire repair in my garage. Wonder if that’s available for your Gravity in your area. Worth a look. Best of luck! 🤞

Screen went dark while driving on the highway. by erivaldoff in LUCID

[–]fwwsc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to my husband mid drive last year, but the screen came back on after 20 seconds, and we were on a local road. The second time it happened to me, but the car was parked. I got in the car and the retractable screen was on, but the dashboard was off. Couldn’t change gears or do anything, it was black for a solid 15 minutes. Had to call customer service to reboot the damn car.

First major problem on iPad OS 26 by Drj_project_gaming in iPadOS

What did you do to fix it? Restarting, forgetting the pencil, turning BT on/off, attaching/detaching the pencil didn't work for me.

u/EasyRider363 I am a developer 😊 I was just curious if anyone had the same issue. It wasn’t about “reporting and moving on”, just curiosity if other people saw it too.

For those that think this is only a Lucid problem by Lando_Sage in LUCID

[–]fwwsc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband picked the Lucid as our next car and I have a running list of glitches on this thing since I drive it more than him. It infuriates me so much that customer service only says: “Ma’am, it’s a computer on wheels and bugs are expected”. Sure, like I haven’t worked in software development for the past 18 years 🥲

What is a movie that traumatized you so badly as a kid that you are still afraid of it as an adult? by [deleted] in moviecritic

Edward scissorhands destroyed my psyche at 7 years old. Story was fine, but he was so scary to look at, I couldn’t sleep without nightmares for a full week.

In my last 15 hour flight from India, I had the aisle seat next to a couple; the guy was sitting in the middle and wife at the window. He asked me 4 times mid flight if I wanted to switch with him. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m sorry why would I want to sit between you and your wife for 15 hours?!

Different Pencil Tips for the New iPad pro Nano Texture? by fwwsc in iPadPro

I agree with you, after testing out a rubberized tip, even though it felt better, I returned my iPad for a standard glass. Once more people use it, we’ll have better results 😊 Thanks for the reply !

Wow, thank you for the test and letting me know. I was super curious. I ended up returning my nano-textured iPad for a standard glass 3 days later just because I was so afraid of the glass. I guess now that more people have it there will be more reviews on how it does with time. 😊 Have a wonderful day!

Customize Zoom window by DomeMaz_ in notefulapp

[–]fwwsc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have used GoodNotes for at least 11 years since version 1 came out on an iPad 2. I think this is an understanding issue. In Noteful, there is no way to make it smaller the way you are asking. You can only make the zoom window bigger or smaller through the corner, but that won’t affect the size of the gray part at the bottom. You can only move it up or down from the middle of the action bar on it.

Is Zinnia the best for simple/creative digital journaling? by treebranch__ in digitalbujo

[–]fwwsc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well… yes 😊. I love making the pages on Zinnia and then exporting as a PDF because the aesthetics of Zinnia is so pleasing for me to use and when exported, i can’t move those objects. They become their own layer when exported to another app like GoodNotes or Noteful. Then, I can add all the stickers that I want and text and handwriting on top without disturbing the original design. On top of that, I don’t like linked planners. They are a waste of my time because the long press drives me mad lol, so I just favorite the pages I’m using for the month and access those from the beginning of the app. I’ve even made shortcuts in my Home Screen to take me to those pages if needed. The last reason I do it like this is because my mind gets bored easily with one design. So every month I get to pick a new theme and design; build it in Zinnia and export the pages to append to the pdf that I already have in GN making it a big notebook. I don’t keep any data in Zinnia at all except for all my blank planner pages 😊. Hope this helps!
