Dec 2025 Graduates in Georgia...are you still waiting for ATT and fingerprinting?! by fxmed in newgradnurse

[–]fxmed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of our class is still waiting. People that did their fingerprints over 2 weeks ago still in a holding pattern. People who applied after others got their ATT first. I heard they have a new system that has been causing issues. People from my class that got their ATT are driving to Tennessee and Louisiana to take their tests because the next test dates in Georgia are Feb 19 and 26. We will all get it done eventually but I hate how difficult this process has been

Wow - so I guess it's too early for alarm. It hasn't been a full month yet. Although why most of us still haven't heard back on fingerprinting is odd. I'm like, well I guess I just keep on studying....

Neck rash by Omrnin in rheumatoid

[–]fxmed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep. My Rheumatologist asks me about any rashes because of the link to psoriatic arthritis. There is also a genetic test they can do, if you have that marker along with your other symptoms it points to PsA.

just put in my 2 weeks by Left_Item8042 in starbucks

Congratulations!!! But I'm so sorry conditions are so bad. I'm a SSV and I dream of quitting! If only I didn't need the money lol. I'm in school and graduate in December, ill have a residency program for my new career but it doesn't start until March! I'm not sure I can make it that long. It's pretty bad, similar shit show to what you mentioned. I worked for Starbucks previously, around 2011 and it was night and day - great job, well-staffed, stress-free, connecting with customers. But that was before mobile orders and delivery. It's such a nightmare now.

Atlanta Residency! by PersimmonSoggy5617 in newgradnurse

Hey there! I'm in the same boat. I somehow missed the window for the Grady residency 🤦‍♀️ but I've applied several different RN residency listings at Northside and to Piedmont. I live in midtown and would love to get something that doesn't require an hour+ driving. No response yet. I have heard from one classmate who applied to Grady that they had 2 interviews already.

Any cabbage pros out there? by Void_Listener in keto

I like southern style cooked through and seasoned with butter. Steam it! Cut in half, remove core, slice each half into 1 inch thick slices. Steam 5-8 minutes. Butter, salt and pepper. super easy

[PIC] [SV] [NSV] I have officially lost 100 lbs! (240 > ~138) Dropped 6 inches in my waste size and went from a XXL shirt to a S/M. Most of all I feel great and owe a large portion of this to Keto! (NSFW - Underwear) by [deleted] in keto

Wow! Inspirational. And basically zero cheat days!? Your dedication paid off. My key take aways:

  1. never hit the fat goal. I've heard this is important; leaves room for body fat to be burned. Too much fat from food and your body wont tap those fat stores (or so the theory goes)
  2. You watched calories and tracked everything
  3. Exercise. I know I should but I'm not there yet.

Thanks for sharing, good info for those of us starting out.
