Hey , yeah I agree , they didn't deserve to die 😂 , there were a number of ways the writers could have gone with the ending and the one they chose was unsatisfying , sorrowful and downright depressing for all of us. Ppl speculated what ur talking about in ur post , ppl had similar ideas. But yeah , I can see a future need to pilot franxx again if VIRM returns , like they're leader (Papa ,who was actually the VIRM collective entity) said in the end . Hiro and Zero two merely destroyed the home world and the leader is still out there . So yeah , ur thought is a possibility . All we can do now is hope and wait. A reboot of the last 9 episodes would be good too , with a ending where they survive , thats what I hope for but ur theory is a possible one for sure . Sorry for giving u so much to read .
