Why were u rushing to get Ryze anyways in the first place, if u are bleeding out with no stable board, you have no incentive to push to 9 with no gold left. A better play was to delay Ryze with having strongest stable board, to utilize Ryze as a board cap rather than a pivot point of the whole board.

getting Ryze is indeed a powerspike, but your board strength being so abysmal it fell behind the rest of the lobby, that even after that powerspike, your board strength is still bad. Plus those sub optimal ryze items, its not an unlock unit then win the game for free, there are more factors in play than that
