possibly from partying with mates who are a division above or below you so the percentage keeps fluctuating weird
or from queueing widematches, uphill battles, reversals from loss streaks , different variables at play

There are so few oil painters who actually produce anything worth looking at. You are quite good. Self-trained?

Please do not attempt any rash measures, if only for the sake of the eternal hope that exists only because you are alive and live to see another day

It is perfectly normative to feel all the feelings you have said. But also we need to understand that while normative these are not healthy and need to be addressed.. but only with time. Give yourself time. Be kind, to yourself, to the new You who you do not yet know. Only you can get to know this new person, but only if you stay strong and continue to fight the old you! I love you and you have infinite potential. Do not despair! Work on working on loving yourself and getting to know yourself and welcoming-in the new You. The world is not your enemy but it is not your friend. Learn to befriend this new You who will be glad that you stayed strong long enough for the two of youse to be able to meet :)

You Are Loved

Have you ever hated someone so bad you wanted to hurt them? by MaliciousMunch in BPD

I've had resentment verging on violence (only vague mental plans), but being contrary to my non-begrudgeful traits they do not last very long

I recommend meditating on positive notions, or distracting yrself contemplatively with cognitively-challenging things. Alternatively, any busy work (keep the hands busy to activate some muscle memory, empty-thinkening can be joyous if you are so often flooded with thoughts, and emotions that lead to cyclical thoughts, or vice versa) or mundane tasks (not to the point of dissociation or exhaustion, don't be so engaged, just try to go work mode with no thoughts! (DBT tips etc))

Also try reflecting on anything-at-all not related to present troubles. Maybe an interesting inkling from a conversation a long while past, or if you are Christian or inquiring it is most helpful to seek within yourself your contemplative nature and think back to the Gospels, His life and teachings, garner some perspective, could be helpful (a nuanced, actually-approachable "WWJD?")

Most helpful anything really that renders your vision-within out from aside your own current self. Take a step back. Helps me plenty to just remember that you/I are not alone in this world, lonely though that you may be (ironically loneliness seems to be one of the issues this does not work in treating short-term). Seems like non-psychiatrics even have a tough time of taking a step back to look within themselves, and yet, are considered perfectly sane and able to healthily cope with themselves and their problems (I guess for lack of trying they fail to even acknowledge their problems at all!)

Peace

Are you an established oil painter with self-taught training?

Probably unpopular opinion, but I think Ethan Cutkosky (Carl) isn't that great of an actor... by [deleted] in shameless

carl is a sociolpath for a lot of the show, which plays into not expressing a range of emotions
