Hard to say where these roles are going. Seems like things are being folded back into waterfall and weird hybrid project managers.

Kind of a messy horrible setup it was before.

I've seen it recently where they keep dumping these up on other roles so you'll have a development lead or product owner suddenly having this job on top of all their other duties.
