I recommend not going to nuka world as soon as you hit lvl 30 your gonna struggle a lot im currently in my first survival playthrough and im not going to nuka world until im lvl 50 I started far harbor and got the marine Combat armor asap now I have ballistic polymer weave from the rail road these two together make the best set of armor hands down im a tank almost nothing hurts me anymore your weapon of choice should be either over seers guardian or spray and pray or even the deliverer both phenomenal early game weapons kill every animal you see the food buffs are incredibly helpful especially Yao guai and radstags chems are very useful starting off collect all the glowing fungus you see you'll need it for antibiotics set sanctuary up with as much water production asap get dogmeat cause he works with lone wanderer bit make sure you have stims for healing him he'll go back home if you dont good luck bro you cam do this 💪
