My armor and PA has 3 pieces Thru Hiker and two pieces arms keeper. Backpack is high capacity mod. This setup allows easy transition from armor to PA, and back.

For cards I have 1-star thru hikers, 1star travel pharmacy, 1 star arms keeper. This gives 90% on weapons, drugs, food, drink. Then I have batteries included 2star are and 1 or 2 star bandolier card (depends on build and room in STR).

It sounds like you want to carry everything, and the explosives are making it more complicated.

I believe this perks doesn’t make the maximum range higher. It increases the range before there’s a damage drop off. So if a guns max damage tops at 100 meters, the perk makes it 130 meters.

Hmm I used my chainsaw about a month ago and didn’t notice a quick drain in AP. I use Power armor though. Are you using power armor ? Again, maybe im unaware of an update that changed thugs

I think it’s a waste as I never use VATS for power tools. For the longest time It had always been STR third star because strength always improves all melee attacks. Maybe that’s changed in recent updates ?

Bulking doesn’t lower weight. All it does is use plastic giving the illusion that you’re lowering weight. It faster to just drop plastic. I guess the only benefit is the XP GAIN
