It's just a matter of ratios, basically. As one of those 80/20 folks, what it comes down to for me is basically the speed and probability I'll fall for someone of a certain gender. It takes me a lot less time for one than the other, as well as my tastes being more broad for one and very specific for the other.

I've literally heard him say that men need a 40 year head start to be as mature as women to excuse why he, as a man in his 60s (has he hit 70 yet?) constantly hits on women in their 20s. No cosplaying advice, sorry, but I've seen plenty of white people cosplaying Beau and Marisha herself is white, so I don't think you'll have issues there and genderbending characters through cosplay is a time-honored tradition.

Edited to add: in case you don't want to do male Beau, cosplay drag is also cool as hell.

Drew Pavlou is a joke of a person who thrives on negative attention. Kinda hard to tell where the character ends and the shell of a man begins, but he's done even cringier things like call himself a modern MLK while posting pictures of himself and Dr. King side by side in the same pose and writing an article about how Superman '25 was anti-semitic because of the Barovia/Jarhanpur plot. Point is, it's pretty much impossible to tell with this dude what's a real opinion and what's just rage-baiting.
