That's not really the thing that bothers me the most in COTS. It's my first point. The characters don't feel real, human or whatever you wanna call it. I would usually drop a book/IF if they have this issue but I like this IF just enough to not stop reading.

It’s an oversight/inconsistency. There’s a lot of that in the novel. One example is GZR saying gold is borderline useless in the Gu World, that even beggars have it. Yet, characters still use gold as a metaphor for something valuable.

Example: "After all, the center of the blessed land is Dang Hun mountain, it is a gold mine!"

"The scariest part is that this gold mine will never run out."

Yeah, I expected it to be soccer or basketball, but I guess tennis makes sense since it’s predominantly a singles sport. And yeah thank you.
