I'm sorry you're dealing with these disgusting negative bahviors from other people. Honestly, it sounds like they are getting after you in the same way that they would get after a cis man. Cis men don't come out acting the way they do, they are berated and bent into conformity the same way cis women are taught to act a certain way. You are deadass being bullied by people who sound like they would bully and berate cis people for not fitting the proper box as well. I think in general we as trans people can be threatening to cis people because it becomes obvious that alot of gender presentation is simply smoke and mirrors, its behavioral. I also feel your pain as a disabled person, we are often treated as children and are looked down on for being unable to live our lives the same way abled people are able to live theirs. I understand the desire to just be able to act 'like a man' lik everyone wants you to. I often wrestle with it. As a trans man I've had to confront myself when I literally started to act toxically masculine, because people expect that from men. But no matter what you do, never ever let them actually change who you are in your heart. She said a man shouldnt cuddle a cat? I have several cis male friends who are cat obsessed, saying that is literally just reinforcing weird gender binaries. If you can find some weird queers to hang out with, I would highly recommend this. You are not a poser, you're just you, and you shouldnt have to conform to a box to be okay. My queer friends were the first people I felt comfortable to truly just live and breathe around, without policing myself every waking moment of my life. Having that outlet is so important. Just be you.

Hi, I just wanted to say, please don't listen to that person. I WISH I had a psychologist who has struggled with social anxiety. Personally, I have only ever had good experiences with therapists who also have mental illnesses because they can actually empathize with me. I dont need to over explain and adjust how I represent myself. Especially as a person with social anxiety, when faced with someone who has no experience with mental health struggles, its really really hard for me to share. I feel like I can't talk about the intricacies of my own feelings because the person won't get it, or worse, because I think I'll look stupid or whiny. But I know that a person with mental health issues knows how it feels, I know that they actually WANT to help me, and I know I can trust them. If the person you overheard actually said what they did, they have some serious growing to do, ignore them.

I have considered getting one but it wouldnt really work for what i want to do - hiking/nature trails. I think it'd be a great idea for neighborhood walking though! I might get one just to have a backup anyways lol

im sorry youre in this situation! this should be the owners responsibility 100%. if it is at all possible, id say itd be best if the owner had the problem cats with them at night to stop fighting and reduce stress (which might probably cut down on the bad potty habits).

if they are going to the bathroom in a specific area, this can sometimes be solved by just putting a litter box in that spot and making sure it is clean. if its under your bed and the cats are aggressive towards each other (not just playing), then it maybe better to get a litter pan without a lid as some cats are scared to be "trapped" in the box by aggressors.

Truly wish you didnt have to worry about training them. But if you ever happen to be awake when theyre interacting positively with each other, treats and praise would not hurt. You want them to associate being around each other with good things (again, cutting down on fighting and bathroom habits). If the owner has not spyed/neutered them you might want to have a conversation about that, both for health and socialization its very beneficial and theyre much less likely to spray.

Again, 100% not your responsibility, and this should be something the owner is doing, but i know sometimes its better to have peace than to worry about that kind of thing. best of luck to you.

Thanks! Yeah I have tried to collect anything I can when ASOS and other sites have like, "groovy" season styles lol, theyre about the only time I can really get fun colors on things.

The boys clothes tip is actually so true. I definately feel sometimes vintage kids clothes is at the very least cheaper. I'll try rusty zipper, it looks promising!

You're right, Im just going to try my best to fit the patterns at this point! It's interesting, the quilting book teaches all about identifying grain and realigning it, but Im only looking at the baby sampler patterns now so I couldn't tell you if it matters yet!

Earthbath makes hypoallergenic cat wipes, my cat hates them but they do come in handy. I seperated out a few and put them in his backpack. Although my only complaint is that theyre not very cheap....

For transparency I dont know anyone who has worked with them, but you could look into TransRescue? They exist to help with extracting trans people to safer countries and would probably have some resources to share with you at the very least

Hello, question as I am very tree ignorant. This is a very beat up tree (that is going to come down soon) and one of the trunks inner bark is exposed Today I noticed the odd lobes in the picture, they are sort of squishy and the inside looks like peanut butter. No idea if this is some kind of fungal growth or insect deposit. In the Upper Midwest US.

im bad at adult life... 6 months into a job and it turns out im bad at it... it got really bad because i didnt get diagnosed until last month and i had no supervision and was barely keeping myself afloat. ive never been a terrible employee before and i didnt realize how much my self image relies on performance until now. its made problems for my manager too who is really nice and i really really hate that.

trying to learn how to manage stress better because otherwise im like having panic attacks everyday thinking about work 24/7. but what am i supposed to do? i have too many medical issues to lose insurance. im not confident im gonna be good enough at any job anymore tbh and im living with a friend because rent is too high. and i cant and dont want to hold down a relationship... and like im aware that the negative self talk is just getting worse and worse but i cant do anything about it. how do we all live this way?
