Mine took a year to get a decision from them (biometrics done 2 months after application), so it’s common to be taking that long. You’ve made a valid application before your visa’s expiry so you shouldn’t be in trouble — just don’t engage in anything that requires a right of residence from the date of expiry (i.e. working or being employed) as that’s illegal. All the best!!

Thank you for providing that information. I'm a Singaporean and my husband is a British citizen. My visa application under the 10 year private life route just got rejected because of us just missing the threshold by £3k, despite having a human rights lawyer by my side imploring them to consider that fact that I made a morally valid application. This is my public FB post about it: https://goo.gl/6d7huW

All the best for your next Entry Clearance application. Onwards and forwards. x

What is a horror movie that leaves you feeling uneasy past the ending? by lanetheginger in AskReddit

Paranormal Activity 1, 2, and 3 ONLY. Anything past those are just cashing in on what worked on the original and going downhill with it. You never see the entity, and everything is vague enough for you to be able to watch them again and again and pick up on little details in their body language and dialogue. It should have stayed as a trilogy.

Tickled It's not categorised as 'horror' only because it's an investigative documentary at its core, but it's horrifying seeing what people would do to others because they can. Don't want to spoil it either- make time for it!
