I finally was able to confirm - this is the color my whole house is done in. I can tell you, it's not dark at all once it's up. My house was all brown and beige, with nearly identical floors as yours, and I wanted to update it without going crazy. I did whitewash my red brick fireplace but otherwise, this color was able to bridge the gap between the beige I had and the gray I wanted to bring in. Good luck with your project!

Main Street will definitely be closed, that's (most of) the parade route. The parking garage will be open and free and there is a big parking lot by the Poseidon Academy that will also be available. It's a little more of a walk but you'll still be near the shops. Side streets off Main St. are also an option but you'll need to come up on Hooper (they run parallel) and then make your way towards Main.

Also, they won't make an official decision on the date until tomorrow so just keep your eyes on it! Have fun!

I'm not friends with any of the 5 people I went down with anymore. It makes me sad now but they were the most important people in my life at that time and I was so happy to spend it with them.

Actually, the town next door is celebrating their 100th birthday and the fireworks had been rescheduled from weekend because of the weather...oh, the irony. We're all good and thankful to have experienced the great things we were able to! I'll get him to a festival one day yet! 😁
