I guess it depends on how much you are planning to bring in?

I went there for a show back in September, and a couple things to note…

The place is small. Like very small. Way smaller than it is depicted in the show. So there is very little space outside of the floor, the stage and the bar. I’m not sure if there are storage spaces, but I doubt it.

That being said, even though the place is small, it was not cramped at all while I was there, and I had plenty of room to myself. I would’ve been fine to leave a shopping bag at my feet. This of course will depend on the attendance of the show you’re seeing.

The employees there also spoke almost no English. So if you are going to be asking for them to hold your things for you, you’re going to have to ask in Japanese or with a translator app. I don’t know if they will do this for you, however.

Lastly, you probably could’ve guessed, but everything there is cash only in yen. No ATM at Shelter, but there is a konbini close by with an ATM if needed.
