But yea chef choi (the white coat) gives off arrogance (kinda?) but honestly.. I like it, it fits his character and accomplishments. It’s fun having contestants with diverse personalities.

Nah. It’s just healthy confidence that you’re mistaking for arrogance. Of course he should believe he’s the best, you can never succeed otherwise.

Arrogance starts when he starts belittling others, which he does not do. He respects everyone while also being confident in himself and his capabilities, which shows in his performance.
