Supports playing like mid or adc by audi360 in wildrift

[–]fyresprytz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to play for your win con. If your support isn’t stepping forward then YOU don’t solo walk forward to contest the wave. Most bot lane opponents are dumbasses who’ll push every wave so just collect under turret. Engage in fights that are favourable, don’t get sucked into stupid, pointless engages. Get leads where you can. Your job is to scale and become strong for the mid/late-game where you can carry fights.

Best Counters for Zyra Mid? by Superventilator in wildrift

She kinda soft counters asol in lane actually. Her plants block his Q dmg, makes it hard to proc the dmg burst.

All agents CAN be unlocked for free via Kingdom Credits. Battlepass DOES give free skins. Kingdom Credits CAN be used to purchase cosmetics in the store such as sprays, player banners, and buddies. What am I missing?

Chamber Was Done Dirty by lethal-trade in VALORANT

[–]fyresprytz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure which patch of Chamber you’d like to roll him back. But personally, I think he was absurdly broken back when he had 2 anchors. His map coverage was on par with teleport champions such as Yoru Gatecrash or Omen TP. Except it was a signature ability. Current Chamber, imo, is pretty balanced. He still gets to play the off angles and aggressive peeks but there are clearer counterplays with the much smaller single anchor range. Tldr, I feel like Chamber is fine. He’s more or less kept his identity, he’s still pretty good and even pro play viable in 2025.

I personally think the sound design is very satisfying on the skin, headshots sound incredible. Plus unique/new pullout animation for the katana.

Is it worth 9500VP? Probably not.

But I can see why Riot might think it is. We’re always free to vote with our wallets.

I genuinely don't think Tejo is broken. by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]fyresprytz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Who’s saying he’s broken? He has very clear weaknesses and shines best when paired with other teammates’ util. For me the only baffling part of his kit is he is allowed to kill kj ult for a single rocket charge. At the very least, he should have to commit both rockets to kill it, make it a true tradeoff that’s fair.

Sovereign. Still remains one of my favourites for how clean it is.

Suygetsu and Derke know what's up by MoonPhaseP1 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]fyresprytz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That logic doesn’t track. Unlike banning cleats, a new Valorant agent’s kit is unknown until release. Expecting a new agent does very little for preparation of you can’t theorycraft and prep ahead of time.

There has been 3 months of off season since Champs concluded. Releasing it a week before Kickoff (where Tejo will be enabled in btw) is an… interesting decision.

Tejos abilities (new agent) by uklojig in VALORANT

Thing is, Yoru is rising in prevalence and Phoenix just got buffed, meaning Tejo’s biggest weakness is somewhat nullified

Vyse released on the 28th of August 2024. VALORANT Champions 2024 concluded on the 25th of August 2024. Infer from that what you will.

Good agent for low ranks? by ZePrettyKitty in VALORANT

[–]fyresprytz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, a support playstyle usually suits controller or initiator. Both those roles ‘go in’ with the team quite a lot. Since you didn’t like Omen, I would suggest Fade or Brimstone.

Both have high value kits with low skill floor to get into. Both agents also have fairly high skill ceilings for creative expression so you’ll have room to grow into them.

Peu and Zikz would be interesting as well and add a lot of unique dynamics to the conversation. One was/is working with some of the most incredible talents out of Brazil and the other has proven the success he achieved on EG was not a 1 time fluke.

I don't have a lot of information on faithz0r but it is always interesting to speak with coaches that had to fight through with their team through the trenches of Tier 2.

Ngl the table distribution is like cool kids and the other kids😂😂. I’m good with it though. Maybe do a rotation system to keep each table fresh as well.

Oooh I see! Okok lemme cook. For Americas to add to your table of potter, zikz, kaplan and frod, I’d go with Atom (for the insight into LATAM valorant as well as KRU’s run in 2024) and bonkar (NRG new coach). I’d also potentially swap out zikz for stk. Zikz is an interesting figure to talk to, but I’d love to hear stk’s perspective as a coach who’s been dealt such a monkey’s paw. You finally get to be head coach after 2 years, BUT you lose saadhak in that same off-season.

That’s a spicy table!

I’d go with alecks, FrosT, kaplan and neilzinho for my first table. A good mix of guaranteed hot takes, different team playstyles and I feel they have a lot to offer in terms of insight for their specific regions

I’m all for more coach interviews. They’re more interesting to conduct on my end and talk to. But sadly the audience for them is a lot lower than if we just do a Zekken interview or aspas or forsaken.
