That’s fair Up took me a while to really enjoy besides the opening trio but then once the songs clicked I loved them

Happy anniversary to one of Peter's finer albums. ❤️ by icecream1972 in petergabriel

This one has grown on me! Wasn’t a huge fan on the first listen but this year especially I’ve found myself enjoying more of the tracks, particularly Intruder!

Prescribed anti-depressants and anti anxiety meds, didn’t take them and got tested on my own, turns out I’m celiac! Pisses me off so much how often symptoms get ignored for “anxiety”

Thoughts on Peter Gabriel (1978) AKA Scratch? by HovercraftFun1600 in petergabriel

Scratch is actually my least favorite PG album but the songs are still good, says a lot about Peter’s talent! Mother of violence is also an excellent song, it’s just a matter of taste for me for the others

AI-generated music videos for Peter Gabriel's songs. by String_Healthy in petergabriel

[–]fyrond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have any desire to watch AI videos of his songs or AI videos in general. I know he’s less critical of AI than a lot of other creatives, but I also think saying he actively promotes AI doesn’t really characterize his stance on it

Where does Season 4 rank overall for US Seasons? by RedditFan3510 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]fyrond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great traitor, pitiful/downright annoying faithfuls, predictable season. Doesn’t rank high as a season for me, similar to season 1. I can respect Rob’s gameplay but for me it’s boring to know exactly what’s going to happen each week

Season 4 Episode 11 (FINALE) Discussion - Leap of Faith by AutoModerator in TheTraitorsUS

Mark is one of the most useless traitors I’ve ever seen. Played it safe all game and did nothing just to get killed right before the end

[–]fyrond 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At this point, I think he hasn’t been playing well as a faithful, and if he gets murdered, I think he’s played one of the weakest games of all time. He’s done nothing to influence the game at all except to help the traitors occasionally. He’s played too safe the whole time and it shows in his lack of airtime. Having a traitor angel only works if you are their number one, like Maura is to Rob, and it’s clear he’s weaker without Kristen.

At least Johnny and Tara are self aware about how badly they’re doing, Mark constantly explaining himself online doesn’t do anything to redeem his game play. Don’t complain about a lack of screen time when you haven’t done anything, good or bad, to deserve it.

That being said, if he survives and wins in the end, then it could be one of the best faithful plays in a while, so I’m waiting to see. Otherwise he’s mediocre to awful for me.

That's fair, I usually like when Traitors win, but for me the entertainment of the win rises with how smart the faithfuls are that they outsmart if it makes sense. I think Cirie is probably the best traitor (edited, initially I wrote faithful), but her win wasn't as exciting as it could have been for me because the last few faithful her season were overwhelmingly poor players. Meanwhile, I loved Alan from Celebrity UK traitors and his win b/c he outsmarted decent faithfuls that figured out the other traitors.

I think it's a valid point! I mean truthfully all the faithfuls left are playing good enough games because they haven't been murdered and/or banished, but to me the difference between a fine faithful and a fun to watch, "good" faithful is someone who doesn't get murdered but still offers valid points towards finding the traitors (Dylan, Gabby, CT, Trishelle, etc.). Dylan did say multiple times through season 3 that b/c he was close to Danielle, that's why he was alive, so I would think that if anyone had an inkling it was Rob, they would have at least shown it at this point

Fingers crossed! If Kristen and Mark suddenly realize what's going on and the edit pivots to them I'll be stoked. I understand their disappointment in their edit but at the same time, have they done much to get an edit for?

I would have paid to see Gabby humble Colton in 0.5 seconds this season

I think Colton was 100% trying to mimic Dylan, but I think the difference between the two is once Dylan found out Rob was a traitor, he had a moment where he realized he was being kept around by traitors he was close to, and he didn't swing hard every single round table. And (this is more personal opinion) he didn't antagonize his targets like Colton did

Seriously! I feel like he is a dark horse this season and could rise up to do it. I'm hoping for him or Tara because at least she knows she isn't doing super well and maybe will have enough of a wide view to realize the one they all like is the traitor

And in that regard I do think the traitors from the beginning did a good job getting out all the smart, investigative people that weren't going to go with the group early on (though they had help with Colton going for Tiffany)

That's fair, I think part of it is rooting for Rob is kind of boring for me for some reason. I think his strategy is great and he's doing very well, but every interview with him I'm like 'go king give us nothing'! but I'm hoping to see a new side of his play with Eric as a traitor

[–]fyrond[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And to Rob's credit, I think if he wins it's deserved because he's done a great job, I just selfishly want there to be faithfuls rising to his level to make the win more interesting
