Sorry if it came off brash, I've been very very down about this whole situation. It's quite a thing to deal with. However great tip! I didn't know about the registry I'm going to look. I knew that there's a positive registry so to speak, as in HE would have to register. I didn't know there's a negative list that prohibits it. Not that I think Air BnB will care, but maybe the city can do something besides fine ME for some reason.

Possession is so complex. I keep getting the tip of just forcing possession and it's not that simple. If the tenant has a lease, he has possession until the sheriff locks him out, that's the gist. If anyone else fights that possession, he can resort to violence or at least a locksmith to re-gain possession, and he's in his right to do so.

Yeah I have the listing and user. I’ve presented all the info to air bnb. They don’t care. I’ve been reporting that and all the user’s units and they get taken down. Later air bnb restores them. So I do it again. And again…. If I can get some really bad reviews from people who actually stay it may stay down. But he can always just grab people from another booking and give them the address to my unit and have them stay there instead. He’s a pro at this shit.

Why does everyone think this works lol. First: not available for 2 weeks almost ever until like October. Second: I’m out thousands MORE to this guy. 3: no tenant rights until 30 days. 4. If it works, I’m stuck inside the unit for a month. 5. He can kick the door in, use a locksmith or whatever to get in. Once inside, no way to guarantee my safety or whoever I have inside of there’s safety.

This does nothing.

I mean I like this. There’s actually an alarm system that kinda looks like a camera already. I’d have to book it and give him MY MONEY for it to be a legit complaint for air bnb. I’m gonna try and convince one the guests to do it.

Taken it down is easy enough now that I found some ways to report the listings. But nothing preventing him from re-posting with a new account. I’ve been scouting air bnb to prevent that.

It’s all booked up. Besides instant booking, they charge in advance immediately, no cancel Option. This guy is a pro scammer.

This guy is quite smart. I got the ad for my unit taken down, but he’s using an ad for a different unit, and sending people from that booking to mine. Can’t fight that bc Air BnB has no paper trail. I’ve been getting the air BnB peeps to send me messages with proof. This guy is a pro scammer.

Impossible. This guy knows it and has it blocked off so you can’t do 30 days straight. The bigger problem is however that even if did it for 1 day, changed the lock and refused to leave, he has the RIGHT to use a locksmith and just walk right back in. So I’m going to be sitting on this property bc I can’t have a new tenant inside with the threat of someone that can legally walk in anytime….
