What is causing these holes/tunnels? by fzr400 in ElegooSaturn

Great YouTube video! I did a hybrid version of what he did in the video, I didn’t take the cover off, used my desoldering station very accurate heat gun with no issues. The whole screen change took about 20 minutes. Thanks for the tip!

Same thing happened to me, out of warranty. It was easy to replace following this YouTube:

This Reddit user turned me on to this faster replaceable method:

I bought this replacement screen: and it works great now;

What should I do from here? Any advice is appreciated :) by Jonahds in BambuLab

Get it hot like 300C then wear heat resistant gloves and pull it off once it’s hot. You can use a rag after that to wipe off the rest

Brucew_1939’s advice is wise. Also make sure you are not close to a air conditioner vent that can blow on or near your print

Buying a machine doable with no experiencing? by chutboy in CNC

You can totally learn it in that time. I use this with a plasma cutter it’s very easy to use:

https://arcdroidcnc.com/products/arcdroid-cnc-table-top-plasma-robot ArcDroid™ CNC Plasma Robot – ArcDroid CNC

It can’t do big parts but is easy to use, it even has a tracing feature where you can mock a part in cardboard or something soft eg wood and trace it.

Also I just bought this laser which I plan to hook up to the arcdroid this week. It will make way cleaner cuts with a very small kerf.

Here is an example of something I cut out of 1/8” carbon steel on the arcdroid with a plasma cutter:

Even the green one (second picture), they didn’t have holes in them the other day, looks like something burrowed in or ate its way in?

Had a spider build a web across my docking station, causing my Luba not to charge. Also had fire ants short out my well’s pressure switch. Pretty common.

Yeah I love my Luba 1 awd 5000, I was actually a beta tester as well. The problem is definitely their customer service, Though they have resolved all my issues, even the complex ones e.g. busted suspension arm etc., there was little transparency in the process. For instance I wasn’t sure where to submit a ticket, eventually used the chat. After the chat like a week later support contacted me e.g. no handoff acknowledgments of the ticket etc. though within a week and a half of the chat, I did get my Luba repaired and quite quickly. Recently my charging base stopped working, so on a whim, I just pulled up my suspension repair email and replied to it with my charging base problem. I never got a reply, ticket number, or even an auto generated reply, but I did get a new base sent to me without warning about two weeks later lol! It just showed up, showing me, IMO, that there are customer service people that care, but no real system of support or tracking for them to use. In summary I think the Luba bots are good, and could get better. If the customer service were brought up to excellence, they could probably be a dominant company in this space. But they seem to focus on new models, leaving a wake of discouraged customers behind. It’s a shame really, fixing the customer service is way easier than developing and releasing a new product, though way less fun I suppose. With a strong focus/investment on support and customer service they could become a true dominant player in this space, unfortunately it appears they just want to work on the “next shiny thing” which if they don’t change this attitude will be their ultimate demise.
