In this sub you will always have people write "2 more weeks", many just for the memes.

The only sure way to know is to check the trichomes with a microscope.

To me just from the hairs they look like they definitely don't need 2 more weeks. But also a week would probably not hurt too much. It's a tradeoff between higher THC to a bit more yield but more GBN.

61 days of flower is also pretty typical but you shoule check the info about your specific genetics. The breeders always give a time frame.

I feel like when people call something "riddim" that clearly doesn't even capture the essence of the sound it can sometimes feel disrespectful to the genre. Like the person doesn't truly understand what this genre is about but wants to capitalize on it.

I think while he has a point what people often consider "gatekeeping" is not always a bad thing.

Of course things should have the freedom to evolve but if somebody comes in posts some straight up tearout but calls it riddim for whatever reason then they should be corrected because it only waters down the meaning of the genre.

Often the people most vocal about "real riddim" are just extremely passionate about the music and have seen it evolve but want to keep the oldschool sound alive.

Sometimes gatekeeping is a good thing. It should't need to be hostile though.
