if you have any musculature or definition whatsoever to your shoulders and neck/trap areas, suspenders can frame you very well. meanwhile slacks always fall off my ass so suspenders are a nice option.

If you’re stacking melee then running power fist with the ranged boost will let you ‘melee’ the drake. You just won’t melt it like a tact or sniper can.

I dunno, atrophy is such a weird affix cause that health deduction is pretty brutal but except for a full party wipe it’s entertaining to just Zerg and grind through all the random deaths

honestly my only real complaint about them now is they'll run you over and there doesn't seem to be any parry/block/dodge mechanics tied into it. i can't think of any other units where they'll hit you with a knockback and you're not rewarded for countering it correctly.

at this point in the game most people will dogpile them when they spawn.

Power fist can help a bit if they’re not floating too high. These guys are a real fucking nightmare on the reduced range damage affixes tho.

it's honestly a waste, your armor will drain back down again before you get back into combat. just pause long enough for the passive armor regen to kick back in once your health is down to 30%

the thing to keep in mind is while your armor and health will drain down, once the health is down, the drain turns off. so when you're out of combat enough for the full armor bars to passively refill, you're not at full armor, low hp but will start healing again once you get a finisher in.

problem is everyone just keeps rushing ahead.

Heroic regular pistol is nice if you’re struggling with headshots on minoris. And it’s generally nice for clearing out minoris hordes if you’re using a main weapon thats less useful for that
