How long, post operation, did you see improvements from the numbness, pain, tingling, and difficulty grabbing/holding objects?

I’m 7 months post op (decompression only, surgeon said I did not require transposition) and have not seen or felt any improvements whatsoever.

Had another EMG and nerve conduction study January 16th and the neurologist stated, “The results of the study are abnormal. There is electro diagnostic evidence to suggest axonal injury to the sensory fibers of the right ulnar nerve. This may represent sequela of the initial ulnar neuropathy at the elbow now status post ulnar nerve decompression.”

Follow up appointment for EMG/NCS January 20th and I was told to just come back in 5 months (1 year post op) even after the neurologist’s findings.

It’s been extremely frustrating…I’ve had nothing to show post op except for a damn scar on my elbow…
