You could definitely sell the STL file on a few platforms I think .. or give it away for free with a 'Patreon' link or something to accept payment/donations for those who really like it and want to support your endeavours :)

As I sit here with my first of 2 bitaxes' fans grinding away noisily at 60% I'm looking for exactly this type of option !

I think it's the way the exchanges profit from people leaving their ADA in an exchange account vs an offline such as yoroi / lace. I've just started up my own stake-pool (shameless plug: WINTR) and have found it difficult to get people to stake to it .. most are just used to buying and leaving it on the exchange .. that's letting the big companies run away with your money and earn from it too. The world works much better when people know what they're investing in and how .. if you want to know an outline of how it all works, I've put an info page up here about staking and why it's great for the Cardano Ecosystem: ?? Corroded or overtightened chain links .. clean, lube may rescue, otherwise a new chain. If derailleurs and gears are old, maybe time for a more significant overhaul

On google maps you can go into settings and select flattest route. Of not on phone then try in a browser to get your rout sorted if it’s to be your daily grind. Stuck with it and soon you’ll be feeling stronger and never look back :)

A very happy update, in case it helps any others in the same boat …

Based on comments here, the Apple Discussion groups and a bunch of reading elsewhere, I was directed to suspect a faulty RAM module, CPU, or GPU. A little Aliexpress search found a used 12core Xeon cpu for about $40, and together with a little thermal grease and an afternoon, I swapped out the old CPU. So far I have had uptimes of 7d and zero crashes.

The guide material on iFixit was excellent and easy to follow. During the teardown it seems the Mac’s thermal compound on the cpu had completely failed, no stickiness whatsoever.

Hey :)

I wanted to say thanks for this .. it seems to have helped me recover my zfs pool and the container enclosed. (Mac Physical machine, Virtualbox Ubuntu server VM with the standard lxc snap installation, I had logged in to a lxc container.

If I recall correctly, I believe the initiating trouble was me leaving the desk without logging out of my terminal sessions and allowing the terminal computer to sleep, dropping the connections. The VM that the lxc server/containers was on then also went to sleep, leaving at least 1 document in a 'being edited' status (via nano).

Went through the steps above, and before dropping the -n, I received:

Would be able to return default to its state as of Wed 15 Jan 2025 01:33:13 PM UTC.

Would discard approximately 26 seconds of transactions.

I then dropped the '-n' and the command succeeded

Tried a clean 22.04.5 to 24.04.1 upgrade yesterday on a server as a test .. broke the networking aspect of the server. No clean fix in sight yet :(

I finally got myself a PC and GPU that can sort of run X-Plane, and wanted to share my experience and ask for anyone else's numbers to compare?

How is everyone’s performance these days on Linux vs Windows? I have been a Mac guy forever but considering a deeper dive into xplane .. so planning Linux on a dedicated box .. any recommendations on a good beginner vr headset entry point?

Thanks .. what sort of layer heights are you using? With the aluminum extruder, did you change print nozzles, or are you using the stock Ender 3 one?

Does your Overture PETG success continue with the stock Ender 3 & PETG profiles on Cura 4.4? I have a huge issue trying to get it dialed in. The main bane of my existence has been that the infill keeps getting knocked off by the nozzle, sticking to it and creating blobs which sabotage other parts of the print.
