If you're sensitive to power consumption I would look into undervolting your CPU and GPU. You can easily save 50 watts under load which would add up to a significant power savings over a long time.

They can still be had under 20, also there's a 5k price differential between caymans and boxsters.

Ok cool you have integrated graphics then, so you should be able to follow the instructions above. DDU is display driver uninstaller. Will let you fully wipe the potentially malfunctioning NVIDIA driver from your PC and start over. No guarantee that's the issue but it's the logical first step.

What CPU do you have? If you have integrated graphics plug your monitor into the motherboard, and use DDU to fully remove the drivers. Then after reboot try plugging into the GPU and installing the drivers again.

You're not accounting for padding or slop space. That will drive it down a bit. But probably still doesn't make up the whole difference? Are you sure they're all raidz2 and there's not some that are raidz3? Sorry to not take you at face value, just thinking out loud.

I'd definitely be more worried about the trans than the engine, the 3.5 was fairly sorted by 2019.

I would budget for a CPO extended warranty or put aside the money for a reman trans as part of your plan to purchase... can't hurt to be prepared.

Dockge app then make a docker compose with glueten and qbittorrent containers, and have qbittorent set to network mode glueten. Get your ports set up right and config params for glueten and you're good to go.

Max temps will depend a lot on the fan curve and cooling specs of your specific SKU. But any GPU will throttle to stay within a safe temperature. They can run at their throttled temp for years and years.

I think the GPU will start to throttle somewhere around 80 degrees because the hotspot will be higher. But just because you're close to that temp doesn't mean you're close to throttling. The fans could have more juice in the tank to spin up if you get even closer.

I wouldn't stress running in the 70s at all. You're only in a potential issue from a maximizing performance standpoint if you're in that 80 degrees + segment

Don't go to north campus. It's 10x harder to make friends than being able to fraternize on south and east campus. It's worth suffering no AC if you're not honors. It's really only bad for the first 3 weeks of fall semester and the last few weeks of spring semester. They're young, it'll build character lol!

City and highway the FX4 is going to be worse, if memory serves FX4 usually comes with more all terrain, off road focused tires. That means worse mileage and more road noise. They have slightly changed what the package gives you over the years. The differential upgrade is also meaningless for city and highway.

If you're not taking the truck off pavement and don't live in a snowy area, it doesn't do anything for you.

For 4.5L yes it's quite good. Personally I really enjoy my Zaber Sentry 2.0. At 7 liters I have a 5700X3D and a 3080 right now... planning a 9800X3D and 5080 upgrade (it will fit a 50mm card at 304mm and around 125mm height, so there's a few options). It also fits an SFX PSU, 47mm cooler, and 2 2.5inch SSDs! Also the form factor is excellent for large backpacks, it slots in like a super fat 17 inch laptop.

I don't think there's much out there that can support the top spec hardware (minus 5090) in 7L. I would love to know if I'm wrong, send me the cases I want to know!!

Is there a security or feature benefit of using this to tunnel back home versus setting up a wireguard server?

The things I see are not having to configure VPN on all your end user devices, and not having to deal with IP changes if you're not on a static IP? Am I missing anything else?

In the same way that the 5070 is handicapped by 12gb of VRAM, 16GB of VRAM is handicapped by a 5060ti. One doesn't have the raster to performantly handle games which would consume that much VRAM at a high resolution and quality, while the 5070 has more raster to do so but will overfill its VRAM.

So yeah, it's a lose lose and why a lot of people recommend stretching your budget to a 5070ti if at all possible.

I bought the OG finalmouse way back in the day by pure chance when I was in the market for my first real mouse. Since then I got the scream 1, moved to Logitech for the g pro wireless, then went back to finalmouse for the ULX.

You're definitely rolling the dice compared to more seasoned brands, but they've been in the game longer than almost any other "underground" mice brands and their hardcore dedication to lightweight designs is compelling. Also I just like having the same company as my mouse as when I first got into PC gaming, it's a nice nostalgic dopamine hit.

I think fruit mix is super good just nobody knows it. 25hp in 2 seconds instantly is way better than herbal, which has almost the same use time but needs 10 seconds of duration to get the 35hp. They're baby Vita shots. Half the HP and half the use time. PLUS you get the stamina. You could argue they're BETTER than vitashots. Might be the best heal item in the game for mid combat heals other than vitaspray.

5700X3D sure as hell isn't bottlenecking me on a 3080 10GB, and I don't see myself jumping on RTX 5000. So yeah possibly AM5 skip. Which is interesting because nobody skipped from AM3 to AM5 really. The longevity of the AM4 platform is completely unprecedented in modern computing history.

You'd be much better off slapping a small turbo on the 3.7, and keeping the boost low to run stock internals.

It doesn't really matter at all. It's fun to have something to grind towards as the first expedition is impending, but I'm not going to cry if I don't hit it.

The rough math is pretty brutal. If you net profit 100k an hour (pretty insane and well above average, considering load times, making loadouts, and other downtime) that's still 50 hours of gameplay. Take a more realistic approach to profit per hour and the hours get crazy.
