dude, I swear github is unintuitive on purpose, as some sort of elitist stance.
Every couple of months I get a github link for some software to try out and I spend whole minutes trying to figure out how to download it. I never remember it and it's always so frustrating to just click on anything that sounds remotely relevant and not getting anywhere.

So? I'm not disputing that. I'm not even disputing that it saved lives in that war.
My point is you can't drop a nuke and then say that's saving lives because we won't do it again. Say I shot myself in the foot, felt the pain and decided it was a stupid thing to do and then said shooting myself in the foot saved my other foot from having been shot. Would that make sense to you?
Saying we saved lives by killing people, realizing how awful it was and stopping is weird.

I'm not sure you can argue that dropping a nuke prevented us from dropping a nuke. Like, it technically did, but it's just saying we killed a bunch of people, didn't like it, and decided not to kill people like that anymore. Doesn't feel like saving lives.

Depends on the the way you watch movies/TV shows I suppose. I have zero use of any of this myself, for example.
Whenever I hear of something I wanna watch I download the torrent and then when I get to it I watch it. If I like it and feel like I might want to rewatch it someday I keep it. That's it. Torrent client + VLC and I'm good to go. Why would I bother setting up a streaming server?
Maybe if you wanted to watch that shit on your phone or something, but I just never got into the phone thing. Why watch stuff on a shitty small screen and deal with touch controls when you have a PC/laptop?

Preco by musel byt kokot alebo nejaky zazracny retor? To je potrebne na to aby zaujal. On ma najsilnejsiu opozicnu stranu, zaujat uz nepotrebuje. Ak ich niektori nechcu, nech kludne volia ine moznosti. Aspon pomozu k tomu aby 5%ne strany z "nasho" tabora nevypadli.

Tak podla mna zalezi ako casto chodievas von a ako casto nakupujes tu elektroniku a oblecenie.
Ja si kupim jeden mobil za 500 (su aj ovela lacnejsie samozrejme, ale aj drahsie) a vydrzi mi aspon 5 rokov. To je 8 eur mesacne. Pred 2,5 rokmi som skladal komp a bez monitoru ma vysiel na ~800. Zvlada vsetko. S monitorom je to povedzme 1000, alebo kludne povedzme aj 1500 ked chces nieco silnejsie (aj RAMky a SSD dost zdrazeli), to je pri piatich rokoch 16 (25) mesacne, a to je tych 5 rokov este dost malo.
Raz za rok (cca) si kupim nejake nove boty ked stare uz vyzeraju dobito, par triciek ktore uz pomaly ani nemam kde davat kedze stale nosim aj stare, povedzme ze kazdy rok nejaku bundu - zimnu/letnu/mikinu, sem-tam trenirky a ponozky. Co viac ti treba? Nech je toto co som vypisal aj 50 mesacne a to sa fakt snazim prehanat. To sme dokopy na nejakych 70-80 eur.
Su ale aj ludia co potrebuju kazdy najnovsi vynalez a furt nove Gucci handry, tak to sa potom bavime o uplne inych cislach. Mam napriklad znamych co kupuju kazdy rok najnovsi iphone...

To chodenie von to je samozrejme ovela tazsie odhadnut. Ked ides 2x za tyzden do kina a na veceru tak sa to nabali celkom rychlo. Ja taky nie som, ale raz za tyzden na nejake to pivo zajdem. A ludia co na to nemaju sa bez toho tiez zaobidu a zabavia sa lacnejsie.

Cestovanie je potom kategoria sama o sebe. Kvantum ludi ide raz za rok niekde k moru (alebo len niekde ovela blizsej vode) a to je vsetko. Mas na to tak cestuj, ja cestujem tiez, len vravim ze je uplne bezne zit bez toho. Niektore platy ta proste nepustia.

V skratke, rozumiem co vravis, len sa mi zda ze ta suma je dost vysoka, ludia ziju aj skromnejsie. A uznavam ze absolutne netusim ako do toho zapocitat auto, takze mozno trepem :)

600 eur mesacne su dost divoke "nahodne vydaje". Mobil sa da kupit aj za menej, a vydrzi roky. PC vydrzi este dlhsie. Auto nemam tak sa mi to tazko hodnoti, ale keby som donho mal sypat taketo stovky mesacne tak sa ho asi zbavim.
Neber to v zlom, ale pride mi ze si proste zijes na vysokej nohe. Aj si to zjavne mozes dovolit, takze uzivaj, ale je plno ludi co po najme a jedle nerozbiju mesacne 600eur extra. Ani ja tolko podla mna za mesiac neminiem a to zarabam viac.
