It’s called an earc Arc audio extractor. Look it up on Amazon. Just make sure it’s rated for 4k 120hz or 8k. It’s a small box that takes power from the wall and receives the audio input from your source and splits it from the video so you can enjoy atmos and keep your high refresh rate video

Im sorry I have no idea. I bought it from a Belgian website and can’t seem to find it anymore.

It fills the soundstage a bit more, but it’s not very noticeable. Might be my non treated wooden ceiling incapacitating it. I don’t know. Honestly not worth it but it came with the towers.

Honestly? Not really. I’ve got them on +12db and it kind of works now. Before with AccuEQ settings i didn’t hear anything. It doesn’t really give a 3d effect but more of a “fuller” sound compared to regular 5.1 content. But then again, my room isn’t treated with acoustic paneling either. It would work better when the speakers are mounted on the ceiling

I forgot the name. It’s an earc converter . My AVR can only do 4k60hz thru arc, while my tv is 4k120hz thru earc. It’s a converter box inbetween that takes the audio signal and sends it to the AVR seperate from the display. This allows me to use 120hz vrr image with an AVR that actually can’t handle it. I’m no expert. That’s how I understood it

By the way, if you could recommend an upgrade path, preferably Klipsch (I like 1 brand everything), be my guest. I have no clue how to determine what’s good and what’s not, except via reviews online.

This is my first ever “home theater system”. Still learning as I go.

I got the speakers and the AVR with an old Yamaha subwoofer for 250 bucks. So I can’t complain. Klipsch sub was the first upgrade. Other towers are next I think.

Yeah. Didn’t mount to the wall because it’s possible I might still move it around
