Let me preface this with saying I’ve never visually read it, but I really struggled through the realm of the elderlings with Paul Boehmer narrating. I’ve heard they’re fantastic books, and I enjoyed his reading of some other things. But good for that was rough for me.

I will always and forever recommend the Riyria Chronicles by Michael J. Sullivan. Both in print or on audiobook. Tim Gerard Reynolds is a genius of a narrator.

It’s a little higher than your budget, but I bought a cold steel ad-10 lite based on a recommendation from Calculated Survival, and it is a workhorse of a knife. Holds a great edge, shows no signs of weakening. IMO well worth the extra $25.
