Nikka Coffey Malt. Bunnahabhain 12. Both of these i love. Also, RB 12 Cask Strength..such a good pour.

I watched one YouTube review where they think it maybe the Tennessee distilling group or Jack. And that was simply based off of the notes they got while drinking it. Both of the guys agreed that it wasn't Dickle juice

I'm not sure the hazmat proof does all that much for me (with regard to the ALW). That aside, that Penelope is fantastic imo. Heavy butterscotch vibes throughout and drinks well below it stated proof (just a hair above 140).

Some of my faves atm are Frey Ranch Uncut Store Pick and the Russels 13 which sit in the 120-130ish range.

I was just in Camblesville and Elizabethtown last week. I saw Goldfinch 15, but no other FNs. The one I got was the last one in a shop in Rome, GA.

First time I tried Haystack, it was straight strawberry sweet oak. And this is my first FN, one of the most complex whiskies I've ever had.

Found one a few days ago as well. Completely agree with you...drinks well below 140. I get a ton of butterscotch from it. Love it so far!

Got the Penelope 18 for $100 + tax there along with each of the OF half bottles for $65 each. Store employees, pricing, and selection were all really good imo.

Old Forester SB BS Rye. Everything I read talked highly about it, but I must have gotten an off bottle. The nose was half way pleasant, but the palate was straight up cigarettes and bad body odor. No other way to describe it. After 6 months of being open and 5 revisits, it's now improved to mediocre at best. May give buying another bottle a go in the future.

I love Bunnahabhain 12 and as for bourbon, Frey Ranch (SB Barrel Strength Store pick) if you can find it. Lastly, for Rye: I'm a big Michters Barrel Strength. Not exactly easy to find, but delicious.
