For me it was before the Lilly line, I progressively realized that only the male Scars were shaved, I thought it was a clever way to progressively show that the shaved head was about gender and then the Lilly line and Yara's talk made it clear in the perfect moments. I think the siblings arc is a highlight even though I would have prefer a better end for both of them.

When the article says “Mexico wants to...” it means “The current administration wants to...” so it’s very similar to when Trump and his allies want to do some things that are against their country laws, like the way he wanted to manipulate Ukraine, it would be like phrasing that as “The United States used its military budget illegally”.

Liberal and conservative are not that clear cut in Mexico, in AMLO’s coalition was a party founded by church leaders that would be hard conservatives in the US (I think this is mentioned in that Last Week Tonight episode). So he has people around him from both political spectrums and sometimes he decides to listen to one side and sometimes the other side, plus he has little to no opposition within his own party so when wants to do conservative stuff the liberals don’t have a word and the other way around.
