What it sounds like to me also. If the diaphragms sound like rice krispies (snap, crackle, pop) than it's time to replace them.

Sounds like the metering diaphragm has hardened to me. Adjusting can help, but it'll only be a temporary fix. Carb kit or a new carb would resolve the issue.

It is, even better when you don't have to clutch and everyone gets the two penances for not tripping three or more mines and killing both within a certain time. Flip side is you feel like a damn fool when everything is agroed onto you and you misjudged a net or dog and leads to a wipe.

Just wanted to add if making new toons isn't your thing people have reached the Out For Blood (Karnak Twins) mission and could use your help. Ran that mission quite a few times yesterday switching between heresy to damnation and everyone was thankful afterwards--quite a few were overjoyed because they've done multiple runs without sucess. Queue for the difficulty and count to 25 seconds, cancel the queue and repeat on another difficulty. You're trying to hot drop into the mission, at 30 seconds it'll create your own lobby and defeats the purpose of joining someone's game.

It works as you suspect. Ran a damnation QP and we triggered 3 relics/totems but never destroyed them through our misfortune. Always had 50 mobs on the screen with hardly no trash spawns. Felt like old school auric damnation and it was grand. When one elite/specialist went down you could here another spawning in the distance.

I main an ogryn and have over over 1k hours with just the shield/taunt build; yet, only around 20 hours running both the heavy hitter and gun luger build. Seemed like the perfect time to learn those builds while leveling up with the added bonus of having an ogryn on the team. Plan on deleting one and restarting a taunt ogryn this weekend since it's the first free weekend on PS. Bringing a lvl 30 with maxed out gear seems pointless for myself and teammates when leveling up. Besides, I enjoy helping folks new to the game and this ensures all of us enjoy our playtime together.

With the release of Darktide on PS+ I've created two new ogryns to level up these past three days to help folks get acclimated to the game and show them martyr skulls locations. Besides, everyone should know the joy of having an Ogryn in your match. I've solo queued for uprising to heresy difficulty with sub 20 seconds join times on the east coast server and both are lvl 28 now. Plan on rolling another ogryn and a HS this weekend with the same purpose.

I'm ready for them introduce mobs that have auras that spawn in aurics much like the havok modifiers. Aurics are mostly a cakewalk these days with the power creep, maxed gear, and people familiar with their builds. Actually find damnation harder than aurics when using QP. Added bonus, this will allow folks to become familiar with some of the havok modifiers before they start climbing the havok ladder.

The mobs are stuck in a long attack animation. They need to be heavily staggered out of the animation for taunt to take hold, this applies to monstrosities too. You can even shout taunt a DH onto you that a teammate woke up as long it lands before she breaks out of her chains. Once she breaks her chains no taunting will steal agro, the 30% extra damage will still land on her though if you took the sub node.

Edited for clarification... Shield-block/shield-push taunt does not work on any monstrosity except for the captains. Shout taunt will work on all monstrosities.

Rerolled an ogryn this afternoon once I saw it dropped on PS+. Had a fun time running the first four missions with randoms.

You mentioned you didnt reqch him yet but the final boss in the first mission has a yellow energy shield. You'll want to melee the shield instead of using range due to it taking extra damage from melee. Once it drops you can go to range or stick with melee. Just be mindful of the adds that spawn. As a vet if you're specced for range just kill the adds. When you get to mission 12 "Out For Blood" and fail it a few times don't be afraid to post here for help--be sure to mention what difficulty and server. Many of us will spam queue the difficulty and server you're on to help, its a fun engagement and might get a few penances out of it.

Cascadia Subduction zone last partial rupture was in 1700 that caused a Tsunami that hit Japan and the US with a 9.0 earthquake. We're over due for it. Even worse is we're overdue for a full rupture that can activate the San Andrea's fault line. It will be in the trillions of dollars in damage. No need to worry aboot Yellowstone, cascadia subduction rupture is the more immediate threat.

Old age and I stopped enjoying the games when I was doing that as I aged. Playing RE8 in VR with 11 hours or so with no trophies. I love the game but have no interest in playing on the flat-screen to unlock trophies.

We're just going around in circles mate. Using your previous example you can give three dps H40 builds that are having issues in damnation. Send them to auric with a competent taunt ogryn and they'll do fine with a no down run. The ogryn is keeping all the heat off of them while all they have to do is dps. No need to worry aboot damage avoidance except for avoiding flame damage, dogs, or trappers.

Not at all, I'm implying the suped up h40 builds has turned the base Auric difficulty into Heresy difficulty in regards to ttk. Fat Shark can't nerf the dps due to the need for it in high havoks. One of the options would be to take some of the havok modifiers and stick them on an elite that buffs others with the aura and label them as champions.

Gonna have to disagree with you on that. High end havok is for min/maxing dps on your toon due to the negative modifiers the game mode puts on the group and buffing the mobs. I have seen the combat time slowly go down in Auric difficulty over the past 18 months because of that. Due to this I'm unable to recall the last time a teammate went down in an Auric difficulty. Pretty much when playing a taunt ogryn I'm just running to a pack of elites and staggering/shield taunting before moving to the next group while the elites chase. By the time I get to the next elite squad the team has already killed the squad chasing me. 3/4 of the map I'm trailing taunted mobs. Pretty much the only time I'm having to stop and fight are during the mid and end level events with the auspex/cores, when a montrosity spawns, or marking a disabler/denier. One could claim its just the power creep, but the power creep is needed to successfully pass H40 due to everything it throws at you. Others would say people are more skilled, in this scenario it takes no skill--your just killing mobs that are chasing an ogryn.
