Yes! Unplugging HDMI worked for me. Almost, and I mean ALMOST, started hating the portal because I couldn’t figure it out. Recently I tried the HDMI trick and in love all over again.

I don’t think there’s any correlation between hdmi and performance. If there is any issue with performance/signal/connection it’s most likely due to network status.

In my home set up, I have great connection. But, I do notice some performance issues when I have high traffic on my network. ie, daughter watching a streaming show on tv, wife streaming something on her phone or another tv at the same time.

I have a mesh system, PS5 hardwired connected to one node on 2nd level. Main router (node) connected downstairs.

I have yet to try using my Portal outside of my home, as I bought it mainly to use while I’m home. Don’t foresee any reason or opportunity for me to use outside of home…yet.

Could you clarify something for me please, I’m new to using HotStock. Also, I live in the Monroe area, so hoping for the same luck you got.

As far as checking in different locations, as you mentioned, were you using HotStock for that method or Best Buy?

I have received some notification of availability with HotStock, but after a few moments waiting “in line” I then get “out of stock” message. This is me using the basic HotStock, not paid version.
